Issues the last couple days with Marketplace Connect?

Figured as this is one of Shopify's own apps, it'd be used widespread enough to post the question here. We use Marketplace Connect to co-list a lot of our items over to Ebay, and it works pretty good. However, on the weekend, we started noticing some problems in that a couple listings the pictures wouldn't load correctly on Ebay. Then today, it's outright refusing to create new listings on Ebay with an error that we need to have pictures on the listing (and of course there ARE). Anyone else experiencing this, or is it just me being lucky?

Question re: Pension at an early age and Pension Splitting

While I suppose this isn't ERI specific, as many PS employees retire before 65, I suspect this will be more of a thing with ERI and WFA pension waivers making many younger (under 65) people start getting a pension. Of course, this may be well tread ground, as again, many PS employees retire before 65 even under normal circumstances.

If we're in receipt of a pension, but both you and your spouse are under 65, can that pension be split? I know that it's a possibility, but wondering if there's an age restriction (which I assume would be 65) to be able to do that. I'm retiring at the end of the year, but still a fair bit shy of 65 (as is my wife). She doesn't work due to disability, but I am likely to continue doing something else, so pondering shifting some of my pension to her if that's a possibility.

Anyone having difficulty redeeming Scene+ points at Shell?

I know Scene and Shell are kind of new partners, but I've been to two different Shells trying to redeem points. Nobody knows how to do it, and there's no good prompt either at the pump or if you pre-pay in store. I'm sure it's just a step I'm missing somewhere. I did ponder after my last visit, do you NEED to use the Shell app to get it to work? For the record, I only have the electronic card on my phone, not a physical one, so possibly that's part of the problem? At the pump, I have to manually type in my Scene card number, as it doesn't seem to be able to scan it on my phone.

Edit to add: Additional question - Can you use Scene+ to purchase gift cards in store? Thought it might be good come Christmas time. I redeem points at other sponsors on occasion, like Safeway/Sobeys, but never tried to use points to purchase gift cards.

Coming soon to a jail near you - Pat King of Freedom Convoy fame

I'll link the decision below for those who want to read it, but if you're looking for people deeply entrenched in the FO stage of FAFO, you'll remember Pat King. He was originally convicted of one of several charges in relation to the Timbit Taliban occupation of Ottawa a few years back. People, apparently including Crown Prosecutors, thought the judge made mistakes in the decision, so they appealed. It came out today, and the panel of 3 judges reversed the acquittal and he's now convicted, so he's gotta go back for sentencing on the additional convictions. Of course, in a video talking about this, King talks smack about everyone including other Freedom Convoy types, and even compares himself to Nelson Mandela (maybe he can be besties with Oprah, he figures). It's funny how he was everywhere, inserting himself in every half cooked conspiracy theory (including the OTHER separatist movement WEXIT) right up until he actually had to answer for his actions. Now he's keeping a pretty low profile (probably the smartest thing he's ever done). Link to decision below for reference, but will come back and edit for a news article if one comes up. This was just released.

Byelection in Calgary to be called when people can pay attention to politics: Smith

Translation - People are mad at me right now, so I will stall until I can blame Ottawa for something.

It's raining, yo!

Just wanted to be the first to state the obvious, though like most of Airdrie, still got PTSD when I started hearing hail in the mix.

ERI Confirmations coming at CRA

It's been talked about a couple times, but can confirm that at least some CRA ERI approvals are coming soon (today), as I just got mine. Didn't QUITE win the lotto, but definitely doing my 6/49 Happy Dance.
