My birthday just passed, and my amazing mom and sister got this lamp for me! I had been eyeing it for a while, but had no idea they’d picked up on how much I wanted it. So happy with how it looks on my desk.
For some reason Rosie took much longer to give me her picture than my other villagers. I almost started to wonder if there were different requirements for different personality types. Either way though so happy to have it now!
Just switched from dark red to blue. I have an older picture for comparison. What do you think? Is it a nice upgrade? If anything else sticks out to you as something you’d change feel free to let me know!

My local Popmart had the buggy roam series! Was really happy to see these eventually came to the US.

I’m not very well versed in creating designs, but figured a moon shouldn’t be too crazy difficult. Honestly I’m pretty happy with the result and how it makes my town feel more customized!
I just recently learned if you have an active delivery between two villagers and never finish the final step of letting the sender know it was delivered, those two villagers will be locked into your town and cannot move. As recommended I created a second player to do this, as to not impede delivery requests on my main player.
My question is- does taking a delivery request from the same villager made to my main player interfere with the active one going on with my second player? I assume not, but I worry about accepting requests from her until I dig deeper into it 😅
Felt like resetting for a new town recently. I was very excited when I got this one along with some of my favorite villagers! I’ve never had three separate pieces of land like this, and all the buildings being spread out makes the map feel really full of life. Plus, the town hall being right in the middle feels right!
Also worth mentioning my favorite villager is Rosie, I couldn’t believe it when she moved in!
Thoughts? Just picked out a new rug and art for the wall. I’m wondering what I can improve to make the space more cozy. Please ignore the sun room for now, still figuring that out, but of course I’m happy with general suggestions there too.

I’m a big fan of clown/circus themed dolls, so I picked this up at Target! Come to find out after learning more about babythree that I absolutely love the concept of random face plates and some of the sets are so adorable! I will be keeping my eye out for more in the future 😊
My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years. After he moved in with me about 2 years ago, it has turned into me primarily being responsible for the bills, taking care of him medically (he’s had 2 major surgeries and has gone on short term disability while he recovered), and since he moved in with me, all the utilities, lease etc are just in my name.
At first it was fine and we were splitting the bills 50/50, but due to his medical issues (spine problems and his job is manual labor) he can’t go to work much more than half the day and of course now he’s on short term disability. I feel like my view of him has shifted from being on equal footing and being partners, to me just being his caretaker. I don’t feel attracted to him romantically hardly ever.
He plans to try to get a office job once his leave ends and be able to help support us again (so we are at least splitting equally), but it’s been so long of this that I’m just worried I’ll never see him the same and just continue to see him as someone to take care of. Also, I worry about him even being able to get that kind of job. He’s very smart and good with his hands but he has trouble quietly sitting down for a long time and has some substance issues.
And sorry it this comes off as really cold, he’s a really great person and I am leaving out a lot of the things he DOES do (he’s very caring, helps with housework, always there for me). Is there any hope that one day if the situation improves I can see him as my safe place and partner again?
