Starting the search for local ish parts to get back to oem spec.

Fresh pink powdercoat, Amd black forks

Lots of old oem hardware still in use buy eventually gonna be changed for newer lightweight stuff. Main objective to get it rideable again.

First outing planned for tomorrow afternoon.

Had a spare half hour and finally got the Gt pro series in rideable condition.

Few bits I want to change still, but it's just stuff like brake post bolts etc that are a little corroded.

We will be taking my other rides out tomorrow, so it'll get a test out and maybe a little sesh.

Got a few days to myself while my wife and kids are at Disney so figured I'd make a start on getting the GT pro series xl back rolling.

Waiting on new chain, grips and seat which should hopefully be here tomorrow.

Gotta pop out n get some grease for BB tomorrow.

New kendas on the tuffs. Man I forgot how tight tuffs can be on tyre fit. Just got to pump those mf up, but can't get to my compressor atm.

Khe levers and oem rear brake awaiting fitting.

Another Awesome weekend at FF.

The heat stress was bearable, although i did wonder how some folks coped under their huge suits and armour.

And minimal wasps.. phew.

(On the off chance they're on here too) Apologies to the lady we freaked out in one of the bars. Clearly had some clown type phobia, and she was obviously distressed. I hope we didn't ruin her day.

Cuz we did look grizzly by the time the makeup had been melting for several hours.

Got the gt pro series , redline and a few parts back from the powder shop earlier.

Finish is great. Undecided on the tuff 2s, might opt for some black rims with black bsd spokes.

I'll get pic of the RL and stuff tomorrow.

Title edit: Off to the powder coaters tomorrow morning.

Taking my gt pro series frame in for some fresh colour tomorrow, and a few other bits to get it rolling while I hunt oem stuff that isn't a gonna break the bank, and stuff to build another ride.

There's some kink volte and huffy forks, gt one piece, salt stem and the rando '09 redline that has been sat in our workshop for hella years. Lord knows what model it is.. looks sort like the roam or device judging on the hollowed out gusset by the rear brake pillars.

Pro is going fluro pink, black forks/stem/bars/rims..

Redline is getting murdered out, black everything.

If anyone can decipher the rl frame# it's in the last pic.

Other than hi ten 09 I'm out...
