I'm considering picking up a Steam Deck OLED mainly to play Heroes 3, but I’d love to hear from people who actively play it before pulling the trigger.

Mouse: How playable is it in practice? Can the trackpads genuinely replace a mouse for precise map movement, and interacting with small UI elements, or does it feel clunky during longer sessions?

Keyboard Shortcuts: How well does Steam Input handle the essential PC shortcuts (e.g., splitting stacks with Shift/Ctrl, quick combat toggles, spacebar to visit objects, spellbook hotkeys)?

Does HotA run fully functional without weird bugs or crashes?

How readable is the text and UI on the 7.4" OLED screen at native resolutions?

The fighter pilot starts getting bored, so he begins pulling off crazy aerobatic maneuvers—loops, rolls, inverted flight.
