How can I adapt the cage for my splayed leg young agapornis/lovebird?

He struggles to stay propped up on both legs, so he usually is at the edge of the cage and uses the "broken" leg sort of as a hand. To sleep, however, I notice he tries to balance himself with both both legs spread apart, and cuddles next to momma. At night, when they are preparing to sleep, I hear the baby flapping its wings because he loses balance and falls. He falls and loses balance multiple times.

Sadly, this baby lovebird was born with this leg deformity (or had it shortly after birth, not sure). I looked it up and unfortunately it's too late to try to fix the leg because the bones have hardened. I came into the picture later, but I still want to give it a better life. I feel sad every time I see him struggling.

I wanna adapt the cage for him but I am not sure how to do it, and also if I should do it in the ssme cage as the parents, or separate him in an adapted cage?

I also fear his legs hurt because I think when I touch the upper leg, he shakes a lot like he is sensitive in that area.

Are pulse oxymeters accurate in the bar and wave representations?

I'm wondering how accurate pulse oxymeters are regarding the heart beats. Could I see extrasystoles etc.? Could I technically detect arrythmias? (Although not accurately ofc)

What does this echo show? Left atrium is slightly bigger?

There are a lot f mbers I don't understand but these seem to be the most significant:

LA Diam: 38,98mm

LA/Ao: 1.58

LA Diam / ASC: 24,21mm

Also discrete pulmonar regurgitation.

For reference, I'm 22f and the surface area used was 1,61m², although I didn't weight myself on that day, so it's rather an estimate.

I also have all the numbers from the report:

Is it possible to have heart attacks without knowing?

Just a random question. Would it be possible for someone to have a heart attack and not know it for sure, but be fine the days after? For example, if I had a heart attack one day at night (all the classic signs) and the next day feel unwell but eventually passes? Or would the symptom continue until you die? Or could it pass but then you can die suddenly?

Or could you unknowingly self medicate to fix the heart attack? (For example taking 10mg of proponolol 3 times a day to lower HR)

any suggestions for daily shoulder support or support at night?

i recently saw the "body braid" and it looked helpful but i can't afford it and i am not sure if it's worth it yet. i also dont wanna sew a diy one, so i decided to just focus on my shoulder support (or if possible shoulder + back + hips).

for daily use, i am thinking of buying just an elastic fabric band and wrap it somehow and secure it with a safety pin, but i'm not sure whether it will be helpful... any tips?
(i have scoliosis too so i am not sure if those posture correctors you buy would apply the same pressure (??)...)

i also struggle at night with my shoulders and they are so annoying because i sleep on my side and they keep going where the gravity wants them to go... no amount of plushies and pillows keeps them in place so they are just squished together at the front. (and i think they also lean towards my head too)
i was wondering if i could use the same wrap at night or, if there is a pillow or device specifically for the shoulders dropping?

(and btw, i now know that the shoulders are not supposed to "drop", but, i don't quite understand what position the shoulder i'm laying on should be... should it be straight below my body or slighly to the front so that it doesn't get squished? i feel like if it's supposed to go to the front, the other should should go slightly to the back to keep a straight line between the shoulders, no? does anyone have any illustrations on how its supposed to be? ahhahah

PS: i am not diagnosed as of yet! but its leaning heavily towards that and i am pretty sure my poor grandma has it too and i am just realising now...

Opinion on hip x-rays

I just wanted a medical opinion on these x-rays I found from 2022. I don't find the written results so I'm wondering if anyone can evaluate these.

I am standing. G = left; D = right

Can H9 show real ecg graph?

I wanna buy a chest strap just for continuous monitoring of ECG (even while sleeping) and I am wondering if I could use H9 for that. H9 because its cheaper than H10 and I really just want to use it for the heart stuff.

Can a ECG sports chest strap detect arrythmias? Help finding affordable personable device

I want to buy a personal device to wear for longer periods of time, including while sleeping, so I thought about buying an ECG chest strap.

From what I read, although most sensors use ECG, they don't actually display the waveforms but just the number bpm and maybe fake wave representing only the bpm. Is this true?

I wanted to wear something that can detect "skipped beats", sudden changes of HR, etc. I want an affordable device.

I have been prescribed a holter monitor for 24 hours but haven't done it yet but my fear is that I won't have any abnormalities during those 24 hours.

Also, even after I do the Holter, I still want to keep checking my HR because when I feel tachycardic my tensiometer shows an error so I don't know my heart rate. Also, during sleep or other situations I wanna be aware of it so I can see if I can find the situations that trigger it.

So... What do you recommend?

I saw affordable ones like Magene H303 and COOSPO H6 but I don't know much about it... I also know people talk highly of Polar H10 but that's out of my budget. The Polar H9 is a bit more affordable because of a promotion but its still a bit expensive and I don't know if it's worth it for me.

What's the normal heart rate for just walking, light activity like stirring a pot, brisk walking, workout etc?

I think my HR is too fast, so I wanna know what the normal heart rate is for just moving from a room to another (only a few steps) or moving a bit more like to stir a pot (not heavy), etc.

Normally at rest I measure with a tensiometer but I can't really use it when it's too fast or after I do some activity because it shows error, so I decided to put on a smart watch I had lying around (Ticwatch E2) but I am not sure if it's accurate. I assume if the heartrate goes up, it shows on the watch, I'm just not sure if the numbers it show even at a constant speed are correct.

I simply walk from the room to the kitchen or bathroom (no steps and quite short walk) and It shows at least around 110bpm. When I stired smt not fast at all and didn't require much strength it goes maybe 130s sometimes it shows also 150 just by walking a bit faster from a room to the other...

I also remember that when I used to go to the gym my HR was more than 220-22(my age) but I'm not sure if its right. And I have a threadmill at home but I'm not sure if the HR is accurate either...

Either way I feel like its too fast. I am scared of testing doing like 30seconds or a minute of more intense workout (like jumping jacks) just to test it but... Idk

I wanna know how I can check at home, if the devices are a bit accurate and wont show +30 what the reality is, and finally what is and isn't normal and what it might mean and what are the dangers?

Recurring episodes of tachycardia at random moments without explanation

For the past few weeks I've been having tachycardia (~140bpm) episodes out of nowhere without a clear reason (sometimes symptomatic but sometimes just fast HR with weird chest sensation). When I saw a doctor I told him about this and he said that there's nothing he could check rn as my heart rate was normal at the time but he told me I should go to the ER when I feel all the symptoms at the same time (dizzy, tachy, chest pressure, feeling like I cant breath, etc). (Firstly because it could've been some cardiac event but ECG, which is the only machine that the office has, can't see past events; secondly because it can be some cardiac event and I shouldn't ignore it like I did because; and third and most importantly, because if the ER doesn't see anything on the ECG when you are there you are never gonna be seen by a doctor and they are just gonna say anxiety all the time..)

Well, the next time it happened I was omw to uni and I was sitting on the bus, and I decided to go a few stops more to go the the universities health thing so they could measure my HR and BP because I thought maybe it might be nothing so I wanted to confirm that I was indeed tachy. So I went there first and the doctor measured with a tensiometer 4 times in different places and the machine kept showing error and he was almost gonna start cursing because he was surprised because that never happened in his whole career (and he is old!). So he grabbed his manual bp thing and the bp was fine but he said that my heart rate was at the very least 120 (probably more but I assume it can't be certain manually ig).

I was at rest, and on top of that I take 10mg propranolol (for migraines, not related to any heart thing) so theoretically my HR should be lower.

He told me to go to the ER because something must not be right, so I did. I called an Uber and by the time I got there I couldn't even form a sentence and was so dizzy/disoriented someone grabbed me a wheelchair.

Then I was waiting for the triage and well, guess what, the tachycardia that I was having for at least the past 50 minutes was gone... In the triage they saw my HR was normal and the ECG showed nothing ofc...

In the end I just did a thoracic x-ray which showed nothing and just thyroid levels which we're fine. (I have Hashimotos disease, but I take medication so it's under control).

My PWD was elevated but the doctor didn't mention, and in my past panels they were also elevated so it might be nothing related.

Anyways, since I wasnt dying, the ER sent me home. I felt very upset at the ER because of how I was treated by the doctor, but thats another story...

I decided I need to go to a cardiologist but might be hard financially because of the exams...

I tried tracking the tachy values with my tensiometer but it shows error as well everytime I feel it... I thought of buying those sports chest HR monitor to track it but idk if I should just go directly to the cardiologist.

Sorry for the long intro but... I think I found possible reasons that match my symptoms and I wanted to know what other things exist so I can read up about it.

I found out about PSVT and also atrial fibrillation but tbh now I am not sure if I really do have just tachycardia or if it is possible that in between those tachycardia episodes sometimes "it skips a beat" or goes very slow then back to fast because I thought I noticed something while I was trying to check my pulse manually but I dont trust my own reading ofc ahah

I'm not asking for a diagnosis and will seek a cardiologist either way, but I wanna know what other conditions exist that can explain this?

Extra info:

- 2 times it happened when eating or after eating, but its not exclusive to that so I "ruled out" the post prandial thing

- 1 of the times it was when I got out of my chair but I'm not sure about POTS (and if i do have pots I think this might be a different separate thing).

- i take a stimulant, but the episodes happened also late at night when the effect of the medication is theoretically over. Some days I dont take stimulants but tbh I haven't noticed if it ever happened when I did not take, since I take it most days

- i have elevated cholesterol and triglycerides but sugar is fine

- i wasn't particularly anxious when it happened. One time I wasn't anxious at all just chilling while watching a show

Can I have symptoms with normal blood results? Extreme Fatigue

Please help. I am too tired to be able to write shorter text.

I am 22F and was diagnosed with Hashimotos a couple years ago, and since then I have been taking levothyroxine.

My last results were already quite some time ago (December 2025) but regarding the thyroid everything was fine, so I kept taking the same dosage. I'm alternating between 50mg and 75mg every other day, (although I admit when I do my meds for the month sometimes I don't remember the last dose I took so I choose one randomly to start off the month.)

I assume my thyroid levels are still good right now, but for quite a lot of time already I have been having lots of weird symptoms. Since I have no energy rn to explain, I'll focus on what bothers me the most.)

At least since September 2025 I have complained about extreme fatigue. I used to be someone who never napped and couldn't even nap unless I was sick. Now, I feel constantly tired, even when I just woke up.

For example, I wake up and eat breakfast and immediately after I am so tired I can lie down and sleep again.

I also have ADHD, so I used to take Ritalin (methylphenidate) but in November 2025 I switched to Vyvanse (Lisdexamfetamine). After that switch, at least I could focus for longer and also now I can stay awake until longer and sometimes when I take it too late in the morning I have insomnia.

I think stimulants help partially in this fatigue, but still, at least until like 3 PM I am feeling very tired.

In October, my fatigue got so bad I had vision problems. I wasnt able to focus my vision because of the eye muscles. Now, when I overdo work it still returns.

I will redo some blood test and also I have a CAT scan overdue but I haven't been able to do it yet.

I have no idea how to fix this and where this fatigue comes from so I'm wondering if will normal results you can still have extreme fatigue or if its some other condition. I am taking literally stimulants and still tireddddd howwwww???

On the last blood results I had:

- normal vitamin D because I have insufficiency but am medicated.

- normal iron levels but the transferrine and iron fixation capacity (?) were a bit high

- i had low folate, but i am medicated now.

- i have also high triglycerides and high cholesterol. I used during 2 months medication for this but I haven't returned to the doctor since so I am not taking anything

Anyways help please. Sorry for confusing long text. I will answer questions

Mysterious scratch-like marks bruise or something similar to stretch marks on my neck

I noticed this on my neck today and have no idea what it might be. At first I thought it might have been my hair comb but upon measuring the distance it couldn't have been. So I'm not sure what this is.

Could this be a bruise that got imprinted like that because of the neck muscles texture?

It's not itchy, and there seems to be no bumps or indents. Just color.

What can this be? Can this be a sign/symptom of something?
