Best sources for morrowind era 3rd era lore

Ive been thinking of running a TES mythras game based on the Morrowind era lore and setting as well as just wanting to read more about it in general

Ive read pocket guide to the empire 1st edition but thats about the 2nd era during Tiber Septims rule , and i admittadly havent played morrowind yet but will start soon , just been putting it off since im still on Oblivion remastered , and im aware of Tamriel rebuilt , although i couldnt find specific sources other than the pocket guides and the general mention of apocraphyl dev blog posts.

What are some good sources or posts formore specifc 3rd era tamriel info? Or should i just cross refrence the pocket guide with the history described in the 3rd ed pocket guide (i know tarmiel rebuilt did that). I know im gonna have to fill in alot of details to make it work as a game setting anyways and i may not even use all the old lore (for example i actually prefer the Falmer in Skyrim over there old lore , not to mention the Imga....) but id still like to have as much preexisting info as possible , also just from wanting to read about it

Resources / help for creating player races?

I saw in some fan conversions like the eldder scrolls wich have player races , non human races with different stats get different point buy amounts to somewhat compensate. Is there a resource to make this sort of thing

Perks and Flaws system with mythras?

Im currently trying to decide between Mythras and Gurps (wich has been tough because im attracted to them for completely opposite reasons) and i wanted to see about having a kind of perks and flaws system similair to what gurps or TES Daggerfall have.

I understand the certain degree of hostility within the community to this idea , one of the thing i too like abput mythras is that it doesnt overcomplicate a charachters abilities too much beyond skills ,and having those abilities heavilyntied to the world but i still like having some option player can take to make more unique carachters.

I already know about the fallout esque trait system from Luther Arkwight wich i will probably use a version kf , as well as the perks system from the Mythras Fallout conversion and and raleels system for adding traits to combat styles (hi raleel) , wich even though i want something other than just enchancing combat styles seems like a good price refrence , id also like some system for buying disadvantages.

The way i imagine it is these should be mostly passive and either give something orchange how charachters work while avoiding "buttons on the carachter sheet".

Some example ideas:

Perk: calculated relations - character can substitute Charisma with Intelligence when calculating skills and experience rolls

Any resources or advice appreciated

Linear games with alrernate story routes or "b sides".

Linear games with alrernate story routes or "b sides".

To be clear im not talking about completely branching narratives , im talking about games that dont have much branching paths if at all , rather having a totally different story route that you can take from the beggining.

The ones i know of so far are :

Deltarune with the b side / weird route

Undertale with its genocide route

Persona 1 with the ice queen route

SMT vengance with the vengance storyline

Im curious if there are any more games like this?

Specifc genre simulation games

A type of game that i really like is "genre simulation" games. By that i mean games that forego simulating or having a specific setting and instead try to emulate a genre of fiction or a type of world. Obvs the most well known example would be dnd , wich despite having a default setting is used by most people as a general high fantasy simulator , same with Pathfinder.

I really like seeing these types of games but most games that become popular indie darling or end up on the front page of Drivethrurpg are made for a specific setting , prolly because its more interesting to see a game about a cool setting then one about a genre.

Does anyone know of other games that either barely tie themselves to or completely neglect having a default setting in favpur of emulating a specifc type of story / world? Hyperspecific or otherwise

Some other examples off the top of my head are:

Alot of dnd retroclones ig

The Systems Without Number series each emultating a different type of setting

Savage worlds wich despite being considered a "generic system" seems made to run specifically pulpy action movie stories.

Mythras , wich by default is made for gritty sword and sorcery but has guidelines to modify it for really any fantasy setting (yes it used now as a generic system but the core rulebook is fantasy)

M-space , same as mythras but for sci fi

Black sword hack , a fantasy osr game made to emulate a specifc type of dark fantasy setting inspired by the works of Michael Moorcock, Robert E. Howard, Poul Anderson, and Fritz Leiber, with emphasis on Moorcock

Monster of the week , that emulates episodic monster hunting shows

Fabula Ultima , wich emulates the style of JRPGs

Best Star Wars system for (somewhat) balanced Sith carachters?

I had an idea for a star wars old republic era campaign wich theoretically would allow for both Sith and Jedi carachters or just Sith carachters , and im looking for a system wich sould do this well. I chdcked out the WEG d6 system but the force rules about the dark side seem like they are meant to simulate light side carachters falling , not as much playing as a sith , since dark side there works similairly to cyberpsychosis in Cyberpunk where you get penalties the more bonuses you accept and eventually become a hostile npc. Yes i could remove the turning into an npc part but i still want to look at other options since ive heard the WEG force rules arent great in play overall.

While i check other systems out , does anyone jave experience running dark side or mixed games? What systems support it? (Im also looking at sw hacks of systms like gurps)
