What is this?

We got ducky about a week ago, she is a lutino dusky conure from petco. I do not buy from petco (for obvious reasons) but the manager didn't take the health of this bird seriously given her condition even after I spoke to her. I was told by a worker she had an incident with a toy and went to the vet, the manager thought claimed "a clean bill of health" I assumed the black thing under her beak was some sort of stitching situation but I have now noticed it leads into her mouth.

I'm not sure what it is, it's not causing her pain because I can poke and move it without her reacting. I'm worried it's something that it's a like piece of toy that was left there, it's hard to get a pic u can try to get a video if anyone needs. I have a lot of experience with birds so i just need info on what exactly I should do.

Edit: finally have appointment for next Monday, the woman I spoke with said to monitor her. They aren't super worried rn because she is very active and isn't showing any signs of distress, as well as eating and drinking plenty.

First time feeding sling!!

I just recently got a dwarf pink leg, she came to me a lil chunky so I waited to feed her. I'm so proud of them 😭 she's so tiny it makes me so nervous all my tarantulas I've had before this I got as spiderlings so like at least half an inch. Proud of her tho, crazy how the fruit fly is half her size still lol hopefully she molts soon !! She looks like a piece of jelly rn lol (for side reference, the thing she is standing on is one of those pink Lego frogs lol)

Years of stomach problems + sleep attacks no solutions

I know the docs I go to are trying but it's slowly destroying me. My stomach and body have been falling apart since I was 17, starting when I graduated highschool and contracted shigella, which is usually something that could be easily fixed but it was not caught by a doc til a year after I contracted it. I now have Celiac, which my mother has but I did not carry the genetic marker. If that was where it ended It would be fine, I really don't mind being gluten free but now I have just constant pain, food sensitivity to basically everything, and horrible sleep attacks.

One symptom is that I get uncontrollable gas that smells like death, a couple kids came to my door wanting to see my pets, I brought one out and I had silently passed gas. They were so shocked and acted like it was the worst thing ever. I know they are kids but like knowing I smell like that randomly all the time hurt so much.

I have 0 social life, the sleep attacks specifically are more that cause of this I think. I have medication now but all my actions are basically dictated by the fact I could randomly fall asleep where I'm standing. it's the most embarrassing thing I feel bad I can't watch shows with other people cus I fall asleep.

Ive been to so many doctors who just seem stumped because my labs are usually normal ish, maybe one thing off but something else off the next time. Inconsistent and the medication I take messes with each other so when I take something new, it will fix one thing but damage another. There is nothing I can eat without consequence of pain, gas or diarrhea

It's 3:25, I get up for work in like 40 minutes and all I can think about is how I'm gonna embarrass myself today, I am so exhausted I have kind of given up these last couple months, I know it's making me depressed but I don't know what to do. I had a rheumatologist tell me "don't give up" at one of my appointments, I have tried to do that for her I really have but I think it's killing me. I have chest pains I've gone to the ER for and I think I'm dying. I can't shake the feeling that something is very very wrong but they will just never find out and I'll get worse and worse and worse. I'm sorry this is kind of a vent but I am drowning in symptoms, pain and loneliness and I want a solution. I know I won't find it here but a little community might do me some good I think, feel a little less alone. I miss food and I miss having friends and I miss when I didn't hurt all the time. Thank you for taking the time to read I know it's a lot.

Where can I rescue older budgies?

Me and my gf recently got a little old man budgie, we don't really know much besides the fact that he's old. He's quite energetic for his age and we feel bad cus he has no friends to be silly with. Anyone know how we would find another little old budgie to be friend this little man or like is the only option getting a younger bird. We would prefer rescuing, I also personally have a lot of experience with conures and cockatiels but no budgies so lmk if there is anything I should know:) thank you!! (His name is hero btw). He was housed with other budgies previously but they had passed, this was more than 5 years ago so idk if I should be worried about his social skills.
