[discussion] fallen back into old habits

hi, i’m just looking for advice here because i don’t know what to do tbh
for the past couple weeks ive sunk into a bit of a depressive episode. it started small, with feeling tired all the time, napping in the day almost everyday, feeling bored but none of my hobbies seeming interesting. at the start of the year, this was my life, and i completely changed my life for the better. i started going to the gym, eating clean, i lost about 30lbs. i enjoyed painting and i engaged with my hobbies as often as i could considering that i am the main caregiver for a toddler. i know ive fallen back into bad habits, ive started to binge eat due to stress and i think i have gained some weight back, but this time feels different, ive pulled myself out of depression before but this time feels so different. like this time, i just don’t care about myself anymore. i don’t have the energy to try and better myself again. all i do is stare at my phone and eat sugary shit in my free time, by the time my toddler is in bed i genuinely have nothing left. i’m just feeling completely lost, maybe this is a normal part of being a parent? but it feels so shitty, but i don’t have the energy to care about myself anymore ): any advice is appreciated

is there a spirit or vibe here

for context - i got dolly (what i’ve named her) in a blind box about a week ago. it sounds crazy but from the moment i got her ive just absolutely adored her, she brings me so much joy and comfort which although i love collecting things like plushies i dont really form emotional bonds / become sentimental. but this feels different, i cuddle her in bed, she makes me feel so calm and happy and i miss her during the day if i go out. she feels like a friend to me :) however i am neurodivergent and i hyperfixate on things so maybe it could be that? but i was wondering if i could be feeling this way because of a spirit? does anyone have any insight here?

17 month old only says “ball” and “dog”

hiya everyone! my 17 month old only says the words “ball” and “dog” consistently and i was wondering if this is normal since the first words are normally like, mama, dada, stuff like that. it’s just such random words, ive tried to make him say mama for months and he just won’t? but i thought that was what they say first?? he sometimes says dada but it’s inconsistent, not everyday like dog or ball. i’m not sure how to teach him to expand his vocab, i’ve tried everything!!

feeling drained after being in public spaces for a prolonged period

hi everyone! everytime im in public like going grocery shopping, basically going anywhere where there are lots of people in close proximity, i immediately get extreme headaches and nausea, i feel like im unknowingly soaking up lots of different energy and i can feel loads of different but not so nice vibes around me. does this happen to anyone else? how do you protect yourself or deal with this?? this has only been going on for the past couple months.
