has anyone switched coaches when taking private lessons? If so, why?

For people who’ve taken lessons, how often were you going? I’m taking lessons once a week, with a few clinics here and there, but I’m not improving as quickly as I’d like. I’m starting to wonder if it’s me or my coach 😂

Not that I think she’s bad, but I see coaches on TikTok whose teaching techniques seem a lot more interesting and who focus more on things like footwork, positioning, rather than just throwing balls at you.

How often did you take lessons, and what did your training look like when you were actually starting to see a noticeable improvement?

buenas epocas: recommendations for 60s/70s salvadoran rock ?

all I have so far is this fuera de atracción compilation, but it's made me want to dive into this era of salvadoran music

any one have recommendations for bands, albums, compilations, or even youtube channels featuring salvadoran rock from the late 60s and early 70s? love the psychedelic and garage rock sound, open to anything from that period

bonus points for live music venues in ES as im going back with my friends soon :) graciasss

For my Salvadoran food lovers: Leña, a salvadoran-inspired wood-fired pop-up

took my mom to the Leña pop up in 2024 and had the most amazing time. The dinners are hosted at the chef's backyard in Boyle Heights, which made the whole experience feel realllllly special. Easily one of the best meals (and overall dining experiences) I've had in LA. Chef is Salvadoran and menu is interpretations of classic Salvadoran dishes.

Sharing because tickets for the 7/18 dinner go on their ig i believe, in case any of y'all (mainly my fellow salvis lmao) wanna go  <3

Recommendations for Padel Clubs?

I've been taking private lessons at Padel Up and it's been pretty good so far, mostly because it's close to my work. I'd love to start playing more regularly though.

Where does everyone play around LA? What's the vibe like for newer players?
