Slower / less scary episodes

Hi everyone,

My almost 2 year old loves paw patrol. I don’t let him watch it most of the time due to the rapid movement and fear/danger elements in it.
We now focus on books and toys.

But I am wondering if there are maybe episodes that are a less scary than others.

So can you help me with paw patrol episodes / movies / spin-offs that are more suitable for his age?

How to build a routine when energy is lacking?

Hi everyone,

I’m struggling with this part of myself in parenting and am wondering how you all do this and how I can get better at it.

I’m a stay at home mom to a 4,5 and 1,5 year old.

I find it hard keeping the household running smoothly and spending actual time with the kids.

On some days I manage to be on top of it all and I feel good and am “flowing” through it.
But most days I’m tired and feel the lack of productivity. I don’t really get a lot done and the kids watch more tv then I want them to.

I’m still breastfeeding and waking up through the night with my youngest. Also have PMOS, so the tiredness and fatigue might come from these factors.

Still I’m trying to find a way to get myself in a more even flow of efficiency in my household.
How does one retain a routine when energy is lacking?

I do want to add that when I get out of the house with the kids to shops or a cafè I feel better and am more productive during the day. I don’t know what it is, perhaps the change of scenery or small talk with others. But this results in spending more money than I should throughout the week. So I can’t do this every day.
I do not have friends that I’m seeing with kids, so playdates aren’t really possible.

What toys do you have for outside play in rainy weather?

I have a 20 month old boy.
He’s an outdoors kid. Even as a baby he would sleep outside in a bassinet in winter during the day. (Safety was ensured)

Now I try to get him playing with blocks, cars, trains when the weather’s bad. But he doesn’t really play with it and keeps pointing outside.

So, I’m looking for things to get for our garden that he can do or use on his own outside but with me supervising so I can do something like drink my coffee warm while knitting beside him.

We already have a little tikes slide and mini trampoline that he likes but I still need to be next to him to use those since he can fall off or need help climbing in/out.

We also have a walker in the form of a car, walking bike and tools station (he isn’t into those things, doesn’t seem to enjoy them)

He likes the sandbox but that’s not really suitable for winter.

So what do you have in your garden that the kids love? That are also suitable in rainy and cold weather.

The world of Scythe art book

Hi everyone,

I don’t know if this is allowed but I’m selling my Scythe art book.

Does anyone know what a reasonable price would be? I can’t find it online.

It’s completely new and kept in the dark.

Winter gear for kids

Hi all,

Hope it’s alright to ask this question here.

My daughter will have school days that are spent in the forest in winter.
They will be outside for the entire day. No way of warming up in between.

So I am wondering what clothing you would advise. And shoes. It gets about -1 to max -5. Which isn’t really cold but she’s very petit and the wind can be harsh. Also of some kids the toes became very red and painful due to the wrong type of boots/shoes I think.

What to get my 5 year old?

Hi everyone,

My daughter almost 5 years now would like to get Sylvania Families for her birthday.

We have a brochure in which she has already circled a lot of items. Way more than we can buy.
I tried multiple times to get some clarification on it but so far no luck. Whenever I tell her to choose between two options she keeps saying: both! 😆 (love her tenacity though)

So I am wondering based on your experiences and expertise what to get her?

The budget will be split between multiple people that want to get her something. So it’s a big amount (in my opinion) but smaller portions which can make it tricky.

The gifts:
€50-100 (this is from us and well base it upon what fits best with the rest)
€40
€25
€20
€20
€10

For Christmas which is a month later we can add some things. Budget for that is:
€30
€25
€20

Soo if you could start over and spend it, what would you buy?

What to add first?

Hi everyone,

We have the builder set 33789 and I just bought the country farm life set 33516 second hand.

If it’s a hit I would like to add a few things for my son’s birthday (he’ll be 2 soon) and upcoming holidays.

I am wondering what you guys would get next?

Which castle for a 2 year old?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for my nearly two year old for his first playmobil castle.

I do wonder though if it’s suitable or that I should wait a couple of years.

And also which to buy?
