Hi everyone,

I'm planning to apply for the B.Sc. Cybersecurity (German-taught) at Saarland University for this winter semester.

My situation:

I have a direct subject-oriented university entrance qualification (UEQ 2.1) for bachelor's studies in Germany.

My current German level is A2.

I do not have DSH-2 yet.

I want to complete the DSH German language preparation course at Saarland University before starting the degree.

The problem is that on uni-assist, I can only find the B.Sc. Cybersecurity (German Cybersicherheit) programme. I don't see any option to apply through the DSH/language preparation pathway.

My questions are:

How do I apply through the DSH preparation pathway?

Do I apply only for the bachelor's programme on uni-assist, or do I need to submit a separate application for the German language course?

If anyone has gone through this process at Saarland University, could you explain the steps?

Main Goal: [ German (DSH-2) then Bachelor Cybersecurity ]

(No VSI Mint because i already have UEQ or completed 13th Yr of Education) (No English Taught Cybersecurity)

The application deadline (15 July) is very close, so I'd really appreciate any advice.

I'm an international student and I need some advice from people familiar with the German university system.

I currently have:

• Admission to University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf (HSWT) – B.Sc. Applied Informatics (English-taught)

• Admission to TU Chemnitz – Foundation in Data Science

• I'm also expecting admission from Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (Bilingual CS) and HTW Berlin (Cybersecurity and Business).

My long-term goal is to study B.Sc. Cybersecurity at Saarland University.

The problem is that my average grades are around 2.1 (German equivalent), so I don't think I'll get direct admission to Saarland's English-taught program. My plan is to:

1. Study for 1 or 2 semesters at another German university.

2. Reach B2 German.

3. Apply to Saarland University's German-taught Cybersecurity program.

4. Transfer as many credits/modules as possible so I don't have to start again from Semester 1.

My questions are:

Which of these universities would give me the highest chance of transferring credits to Saarland University?

Should I choose a university with a curriculum closest to Saarland's Cybersecurity program?

Would Applied Informatics, Computer Science, or Data Science be the better choice if my goal is maximum credit recognition?

Has anyone here successfully transferred into Saarland University after studying elsewhere? How many credits were recognized?

I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who has experience with German university transfers or Saarland University.

I'm from India and applying to the Bachelor of Science Engeneering Science English taught program in TuHH. But they have calculated my average grade wrong. My grade is 2.1 but they changed it to 3.0. This is totally wrong. Uni-assist and many other universities calculated my gpa 2.1 but TuHH does error. What's the options i have? I have sent them mail regarding the same with my haw hamburg vpd attached. You can say while applying i didn't submitted my vpd along with academic documents since they never asked and now i am not able to change any information in application portal since they changed my status to valid.
