Trip to Sweden to EX60
We just got informed by our dealer that we can go to Sweden to “pick up” the car. Have to go in February so we have to deal with winter but we don’t want to miss out on this opportunity. Anyone done it? Any advice?

We ordered our P10 Ultra today, it should hopefully come with a current allotment in January, I know that might change. I elaborate more on my previous post. For reference again I need a car, no longer have a company car. I wanted to test drive an IX3 and a Mercedes unfortunately still none in my area, I had looked at used IX45, 50 and 60. I don’t like the exterior, and it’s just a bit too large for my needs and tastes.
Rivian R2 had been my favorite, 3 test drives of 30 min each. If you want an outdoor car, this would be the choice if you can deal with quality I and the new brand. I do not need autonomy. Space and storage is the best of all of them but the build is below my other choices, feels cheaper but the price point is lower. This is the one true SUV, but it also rides like one, it is the loudest cabin noise by far and handles like a boxy SUV. The tech has the highest promise long term.
Cadillac Lyriq, it looks great from the outside, if you want sporty and more of a city car. Interior was too much for me. I prefer a sleek clean interior. While many want physical controls, I like them to be understated and clean. The Lyriq has large bulky, contrast color physical buttons and controls. It was too much for me and felt old fashioned. I also felt the cabin noise was more than it should be, the heads up display felt cheap. Sound system was very good and so was the price point. It just felt too much like a an old GM car, and for me that is not something I want.
The Volvo EX60, Others have posted test drives with issues of rattles, software issues, not liking certain features. We are not previous Volvo owners so we don’t have that point of reference. Our test drive unit was fantastic, 30-40 min in the car.
-Steering wheel size: some people complain, I am 6 ft tall, got used to it no problem just takes some time but I believe this is personal preference
-Glove box: I love the central box, I only put the owner’s manual in my other cars and never open it. I prefer the storage solution they offered. I get the no central storage box by the cup holders but it was not a big issue.
-Build quality, we did not have any of the issues and we were with the car for about an hour.
-I loved the arm rests and felt it was very easy to find a comfortable cruising position.
-Software: every car I have driven has had some issue, this is a tie across all models
-Autonomous driving-if this is a driving factor stick with Rivian or Tesla
-Cabin noise: Volvo by a mile, I love a quiet cabin and nothing else came close, including the over 100k BMW
-Seats: far and away the most comfortable seats of any car
-Sound system: Best I have ever heard on any vehicle
-I would prefer a few more physical controls and this is a valid complaint
Wild card, the best dealer experience we had was with Volvo, across 5 dealerships, trying to find a model. Throw in you can get a trip to Sweden on Volvo.
Question for those who have attended by themselves, life long wrestling fan but I don’t go to a lot of live events. My wife cant make it and none of my friends are wrestling fans. For those who have gone by themselves whats it like? I’m ready to buy a ticket but feeling a little weird going solo.
I’ve been loyal, over 15 years of executive platinum status. Upgrades evaporated this year. This article is the nail in the coffin. I’ve had 2 upgrades six months. https://aviationa2z.com/index.php/2026/05/29/american-airlines-ceo-brags-about-charging-loyal-flyers-for-upgrades/
Just hit 1 million miles and I’m thinking it’s worthless. @delta are you listening?
