new-ish to jpc, am i doing this right?

felt like an absolute menace this game. i am coming from over 100+ levels on lifeweaver and a lot of time on lucio. i was interested in learning another high mobility support and jpc is just so ridiculously fun to play.

i'm definitely not great, my aim could be much better and i could be a lot better at turning for my team on this hero (my anran should NOT have died that much). i'm also working on dying less myself... and lifelining more. lol.

anyone have rebinds that they like? i currently have her boost rebound to left shift and lifeline bound to right click. i have also bound crouch to my second thumb button (with melee on my main one) to make descending feel a little less awkward. i bind scroll to jump on lucio so i am no stranger to weird binds LOL

fast vbridger rig w/ rudimentary body angles

this was a free rigup for a member of the community, just as a project for fun to hone my skills. very happy with how she came out! obviously the body angles are very very rudimentary, but her face is quite expressive. i love vbridger to death.

this is my second 'completed' model, the first also being a vbridger model (with my own art) for a vtuber who has not debuted yet. i will post that model here once they do! i'm an expressiveness > prettiness vtuber enjoyer so i really like these simpler characters where you can really push the angles and facial animations. in hindsight i could have pushed her face angles a bit more, particularly in the y direction, but ah well 😅

i highly, highly recommend PiPu Production's Live2D series even if you are not rigging for vBridger. She is the creator of vBridger and her organizational tips really helped when i was first starting to rig.

If you just got into a hit and run on i-25, I have a pic of the guy's plates for you.

You were on i-25 NB and a drunk guy in a Ford pickup sideswiped you. Watched you exit off 211.

Looked for you for a little bit but we couldn't find you. If you see this post, DM me and I'll send you the photo I got of the guy's plates. We made a 911 call as well and they have the details of the truck that hit you.

tired of drives man :(

i main weaver and play comp on occasion during normal season. i would not call myself an amazing lifeweaver by any means, i sit in mid-high plat, but i get some cool petal saves off every once in a while. I'm not really interested in climbing so to speak i just find comp matches to be higher quality/more enjoyable.

had a match yesterday where i locked in LW and two others on my team banned him. like, lol, it finally happened to me. i wasn't really that mad about it (made a joke even), but the other 2 players were a bit frustrated that they were effectively sabotaging their teammate and it turned into a whole argument where our tank just said 'not in this elo [plat], not after the lw we just had' (as if that has anything to do with me?)

felt worse that this tank was.... genuinely an insufferable know it all who was GM in support. like, we know you are good. we can look at your career profile. but this is drives - the one time where many people who don't play a lot of comp play for the rewards - and you're banning your own team's main because.... why? you're afraid of losing?

they said themselves that they don't play tank, so why the hell do they care about their elo? i'm just so flabbergasted about this interaction honestly. we lost pretty horribly and honestly i think it's just because all the text chat killed my morale and made the whole team frustrated. if they'd just banned him and not said anything on the matter i probably would have just locked kiri or lucio (the other supports i enjoy playing in comp) but it just felt so targeted for some reason! lol

i feel like if you don't want a weaver to grip you, you can just say 'hey, i want to learn from my mistakes positioning so please don't grip me if that's okay'.... and that would be the end of the conversation. but who knows, maybe this particular player had a problem with a different part of his kit (but let's be real, it's always gonna be an issue with life grip).
