Converting a 6 GB download into a ~120 MB streamed download in the browser

Where You Left Me: A short story experience in your browser

https://joyvision.itch.io/where-you-left-me

Originally crafted as an experience in Unreal Engine 5 with a build size of over 6 GB, you can now experience this story directly in your browser, thanks to the power of gaussian splatting. The photorealistic environment was rendered out of UE with 2400 cameras, covering the entire scene.

Performance should auto-adjust based on your hardware, with fewer splats being rendered on weaker devices.

Inline if-then-else in Chapbook?

Hey I can't find any documentation on this, any way to have a conditional text display inside a paragraph? The best I could figure out is:

I look around before stepping off. The old
[if metOldCaptain]
[append]
captain
[else]
[append]
man
[cont]
[append]
is still standing at the stern, looking out towards to open sea.

Which is quite the mouthful, is this how I'm supposed to do it?

Aerosurfer launches new update: the game is a lot faster now and adds new mechanics that reward flying close to obstacles

Hey folks, a lot of our players were saying that the game was a bit slow, so we completely overhauled the core gameplay!

The game is currently 50% off on Meta Store: https://www.meta.com/experiences/aerosurfer/32631602343151033/

Or wishlist on Steam if you'd prefer to play this on the Frame: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4391890/Aerosurfer/

P.S.: new cover art coming soon, 'cause I hate the AI-generated character

Prototyping a game idea: wind simulation, glider wings for arms, and a large-scale open world. Green currents are updrafts and help you gain altitude!

Let me know if this looks interesting and if you want me to continue! Any ideas for what you'd like to see in a game like this?
