Photo glitches or bad usage?

Hello everyone - We just used four disposable cameras to document my brother's wedding and approximately 75% of the photos look like this from Walgreens. Did we not use the correct settings for the camera (only had flash or no flash) or did we do something else wrong? Or could it have been damaged footage in some way? The brand was FujiFilm QuickSnap. Thanks in advance!

An unfortunate 2005/2008

2005ish, He chose his frosted tips and I threw a fit in order to specifically get a bowl cut. Also including my first profile picture from 8th grade (2008).
