columbus, ohio compared to nashville

i’m looking to move August 2027 after graduating nursing school and was wondering if anyone has lived in columbus and moved to nashville or vice versa. i have lived in southeastern ohio my whole life and want to move to a city but can’t decide where would be best for me. i will be visiting nashville before i try to move but wanted any advice if someone from ohio has also made the move. i know that nashville is expensive to live in but comparing it to the neighborhoods i’d like to live in columbus it’s the same price or less. traffic is also a issue i see people complain about in nashville but the traffic in columbus is also terrible.

i need some help

i’m am almost 24 years old and have had PCOS/PMOS since i was 14. i’ve been trying for years to lose weight. the lowest weight i’ve gotten was 210 pounds and that was right before I got my gallbladder out in 2021 because I was so sick I could barely eat. i’ve been working hard to lose weight for the last 2 years. i’ve gained about 10 pounds since last summer and i’ve been trying so hard to at least lose those 10 pounds. i’ve been the most active the past 3 months making sure to get 7,000-10,000 steps daily. i’ve been adding in bike rides on my stationary bike and doing strength workouts 2-3 times a week on top of walking. i should also mention that i’m currently doing testing to be diagnosed with POTS so some workouts i struggle with. i’ve been eating a higher protein (60-100g) and lower carb diet (80-150g) for me since January and the scale keeps going up. i’ve been told i’m not eating enough calories since i’ve been eating about 1,200-1,500 calories a day. i’m not someone that is always hungry or eat 3 meals a day so i do sometimes struggle getting my protein and calories goals in. do i need to eat more calories and that will help? is there anything else that I can do to help me lose the weight? i’ve been taking myo-inositol for 3 years and that helped some when i first started. i know that a lot of people say to take that to help.

looking at places to move after graduating from nursing school

i’m going to be graduating august 2027 with my bsn and currently live in ohio but looking to move after i graduate. i am wanting some advice on some of the cities i’ve been looking at moving to. i’ve been doing research looking at reddit and tiktoks to see people that actually live in these cities. the cities i’ve been looking at are DC, Charleston, Wilmington, Boston (might be too expensive), Nashville or close by. the main things that i really want are a city where there are lots of things to do and has to be on the eastern side of the country so i can get back to my hometown easier. i live in southeastern ohio currently and there is never anything to do. i also want somewhere that has a lot of people in their mid 20s because i will be 25 when i graduate. i would like a city that is walkable or at least walkable neighborhoods. i’m not a huge drinker so definitely looking for a place that has other activities than drinking. if anyone has any advice or other places i should look at please let me know!
