What was your gender dysphoria like?

I'm trying to get into the head of a friend who is transitioning who, at least from my perspective, is making a mistake. They never had any gender dysphoria that I could see before they moved to a new city and starting hanging out with VERY queer circle of new people. Before, they genuinely would revel in their body and loved their curves. Even now as they discuss top surgery I see (thankfully) hesitation. They still talk about how their tits are perfect even while saying they give them dysphoria.

For those of you who detransitioned, both while you were transitioning and now in retrospect, how would you describe your gender dysphoria or at least what you once said was gender dysphoria? For obvious reasons I feel like I need to tred carefully here. I want to know what to look out for to indicate that I might be right or wrong in my suspicions.

Is a 1995 Schwinn coaster break cruiser worth fixing up?

I scored a very rough 1995 Schwinn coaster brake cruiser for free. Was gonna just cannibalize it for parts, but now I'm wondering if it would be worth restoring as a flip or maybe just a gift to a friend.

How many of y'all werebtold testosterone has no negative health affects?

Edit: Please forgive the typo in the title. As best I can tell, I can't edit it.

I keep running into people who get upset the second you mention negative health affects of testosterone. Testosterone decreasing longevity is extremely well established in human and animal models. For millenia it has been known that eunuchs live longer than uncastrated cis men.

Still, I have been called antiscience for stating as much. It's not like I'm saying don't take testosterone any more than I am saying cis men should get castrated, but people should be aware of the risks.

Anyhow, for all you FtM and FtX folks who were on testosterone at some point, did your healthcare provider inform you of how it increases the risk of cardiovascular disease and at high doses is neurotoxic?

Digit ratio

edit: Yes, this isn't a very useful data point outside of population level observations, kinda like BMI. If we somehow manage to collect thousands of responses from every variation, then yeah, that could tell us something but a few replies not so much. That said, this a for fun/I'm curious kind of question, not serious science.

Preface: Still haven't narrowed down my exact variation. Suspected polygenetic PAIS. I appear male for the most part. Apparently born with ambiguous genitalia that was surgically altered to appear like a typical male. Infertile. Minimal body hair. Femenine waist hip ratio but also very broad shoulders.

As you may or may not be aware, the ratio between your index finger and your ring finger is an indicator of fetal androgen exposure. A index finger longer than the ring finger indicates low androgens and visa versa.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digit_ratio

Something I noticed a long time ago is that I have a high ratio on one hand my ring finger is distinctly longer and on the other my index finger is just slightly longer. This was before I knew I was intersex, but definitely lined up with how I felt about my gender and sexuality.

If you don't mind taking a glance at your hands and telling me what you see and what your variation is, I would really appriciate it. If I can eventually get a large enough sample size, it would be interesting to compile this into a spread sheet.

I imagine that you will see things like a longer index finger in Klienfelters and a longer ring finger in CAH, but I'm very curious both to see how things line up in general as well as if anybody has 2 different ratios like I do.

Mind you, it is also very possible that an injury or something stunted the growth in one of my fingers.

Value?

They openly state they have no idea what it is worth, so I imagine I can haggle them down. That said, I don't know the actual value either. Those drops out look super sketchy to me, but I figure I can throw the parts on a different frame.

Edit: To clarify, my issues isn't that they are road bike drop outs but how short said dropouts are. If you look closely, there is barely any length for the wheel to walk forward and give some margin for error as the chain slackens. On the conversion I ride regularly, I tighten my chain maybe once a week. This thing I feel like I might need to do it daily to feel safe.
