Pro tip: use your leftover egg wash and pie dough scraps to make yourself a mini quiche, as a treat.

The pie is Sally’s strawberry rhubarb.

The quiche is the leftover egg wash + one egg, broccoli, cheddar, garlic powder, salt and pepper. I used a mini Pyrex bowl and baked at 400 for 10 minutes, then 350 for 15 minutes. I found the crust to still be a bit soft so I removed it from the Pyrex bowl and popped it in a toaster oven for a few minutes to finish it off. Probably should have just pre-baked the crust but I was lazy. It came out great and no waste!

At 5’1 with a short torso, eating a meal is the difference between my pants fitting or not

38 years and two kids later, I’m finally realizing that it’s not “bloat” after meals but rather that my height and proportions cause any amount of food to project my stomach outward. This means that pants that fit me fine before breakfast no longer fit by lunch. I realized this with both my pregnancies where I started showing way earlier than most, and was routinely mistaken for being further along or carrying twins. I have almost zero vertical space in my abdomen so there’s nowhere to go but out. I’m sure two pregnancies have also contributed to decreased core strength.

I’m currently at 112 lb. and not looking to lose a significant amount of weight. Would more core work help this post-meal issue? I know everyone has some amount of belly expansion after meals but I feel like mine is excessive and affects the clothes I can wear.

Someone deinfluence me on the Hidaya dress please

I’ve had this in my wishlist since last summer. I think it’d be cute with sneakers or sandals as an everyday dress; I like that it’s most natural fibers; and I like that it’s machine washable. I also like that it’s a touch longer than most of Sezane’s mini dresses. BUT I’m petite with a short waist and I wonder how it would fit on me. Plus the photos are super edited and I haven’t found any IRL pics. Thoughts? I’m in the US so no returns.
