Is it possible to access Cisco Netacad from a smartphone?

I would like to be able to study while at work (retail) when it's slow, but can't bring my laptop. Does anyone have any experience accessing the course material from a mobile device? Is there an official app? I tried to look but couldn't find much info. If I could go over this stuff at work it would be really helpful because I've got a lot to do across all my college classes and only so much time in the day. Thanks for any and all advice.

Relatively new laptop. Fast wifi speeds. Websites taking forever to load. Help?

I recently got this HP Omnibook 3 for college. There's not much on it aside from what I need for class. The browser I use is Firefox, and I have the following extensions installed.

  • Privacy Badger. (Edit:Typo fix. Badget => Badger)
  • Ublock Origin.
  • Adblock Ultimate.
  • Clear URLs.
  • Enhancer for Youtube.

When I run internet speed test using Ookla these are the results.

  • Download Mbps - 202
  • Upload Mbps - 241
  • Ping ms Idle Latency - 23
  • Download Latency - 36
  • Upload Latency - 57

To my understanding, this is considered fast for WiFi. I'm on my home network.

The laptop's hardware specs are below. Does anyone have idea what could be causing this? Is it one of my extensions? I use them on my desktop computer and have used them on there for literal years and don't have this issue on that computer, so I'm really confused right now. It's only websites that take a while to load, programs open kind of slow but nothing crazy. Just a little bit longer than they do on my Windows 10 desktop PC, which I've heard isn't unusual for Windows 11.

Thanks for the help.

Laptop specs:

  • Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 5 225U (1.50 GHz)
  • Installed Ram: 8.00 GB (7.40 GB usable)
  • Graphics Card: Intel(R) Graphics (128 MB)
  • System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based Processor
  • OS Windows 11 Home version 25H2

Just bought Omnibook 3, have a few questions.

Unfortunately I had to buy a laptop for college... Originally was planning to use my iPad but got an email saying no iPads, no Macbooks, and no Chromebooks. Thankfully my need for a laptop lined up with BestBuy's sale, so I was able to get an Omnibook 3 for a decent price.

I have a few questions, but searching on google doesn't seem to help, I guess because the device is so new? Figured I'd ask here in case anyone knows the answers.

Can I upgrade the ram and/or storage in the future? I'm on a tight budget because I have a surgery next month, and later in the year I've got to get all my wisdom teeth out, plus have to pay for college, books, supplies, etc. Due to this, I went with the cheapest model, that being the 512 gb ssd with 8 gb ram. I will probably want to upgrade it in the future if possible.

Relating to my upcoming surgery, I'll be trapped in a hotel room for a week afterwards, and I decided to download some games (fortnite, etc) for that time so I don't die of boredom. I'm curious if it's okay to delete the program "Omen Gaming Hub" since it seems to be eating up a lot of memory even when I have nothing open.

Speaking of memory, I have a desktop pc that has a good GPU and 32 gb ram, and haven't used a laptop in years, so I'm wondering if it's normal for a laptop to have memory at 65-80% usage when idling? My desktop computer doesn't do this, but it also has four times the ram, so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it.

Thanks for the help!

Little confused about this post op shopping list... (What is "amica"?)

I'm having surgery on the tenth of next month (yay) and I was given a post op supplies shopping list (for nipple reconstruction care) by my surgeons office.

The first three items make sense. Big bandaids, neosporin (bacitracin), and silagen gel. The fourth item on the list says amica (optional), and unlike the first three there isn't a photo that shows what it is. I search amica top surgery, and google only returns results relating to a healthcare company. I search amica on amazon and get hair care products. I'm really confused on what I'm supposed to be buying haha.. Anyone know what this is?

Lately I've been having more and more people come into my job and get stupid when I ID them for alc or tobacco purchases. I had one guy cuss me out because I wouldn't take a printed out image of his ID that was scanned on a printer. Many that get mad I can't just type their birthday in without seeing the ID, or get mad that I make them take it out their wallet and can't just look at it through the plastic wallet window.

Then the other day, I had this baffling interaction.

Me: Do you have your ID?

Customer: No.

Me: Ok, then I can't sell you the cigarettes.

Customer: Well how old are you?

Me: Why is the relevant?

Customer: Gets huffy and pulls his ID out.

???? Dude I'm not a cop, I'm not trying to find out where you live, I just need to make sure you're old enough to buy this so I don't lose my job. The guy was in his mid 30s btw! Way too old to be acting like that.

What is up with people? Do they not realize that if I get caught not IDing people I could lose my job? I'm not gonna put my job on the line for a dickhead stranger to feed their addiction. Not my fault they left the house without a license.
