I probably sound stupid but I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing with cameras. I know how to take a picture better than my friends and parents, but I have no idea what all the other buttons and settings do. Is there some sort of YouTube video/series that explains? I especially want to learn how to use the Canon SX740 digital camera, however I have a lot of other ones.

These red spots appear in every photo i take and i honestly have no idea if its the sensor or lens. Its like this with the 2 different lens i have(18-135 3.5-5.6 & 18-55 kitlens). Theyre especially visible on the more lighter and darker areas of a picture. I've tried lowering the pink, red, and magenta's saturation and the color denoise but they just wont go away. Is there any fix to this or should i just upgrade gears?
