It’s been 2 years since the breakup, but the regret and loneliness are still eating me alive. How do I move past this?

It will be almost 2 years this November since Im single. I don’t miss my ex at all in fact, I really hate him But I cannot stop obsessing over the regret.

I wasted 3 years of my life on a man who ultimately cheated on me for someone he had only known for a single month. Because of him, I constantly battle with deep self-hatred. I regret giving him so much of my effort, and I even regret our physical connection. my friends frequently criticize me for being "foolish" enough to believe his lies and plan a future with him. Their judgment is fair too i was fool but i feel it was my first serious relationship so it was obvious to feel that way .

Right now, I am trying my best to move on. I stay as busy as possible to drown out these thoughts, and I am completely focusing on my career. Honestly, I have zero desire to ever be in a relationship again

But the loneliness is becoming unbearable. I don’t have a best friend or a close friend with whom i can talk about how i feel and how its affecting me. Ironically, my ex was the only person I used to share these deep thoughts with. It has been 7 or 8 years since I last had a close female friend, and dealing with this completely isolated feels miserable.

Has anyone else felt stuck in the regret phase long after the relationship ended? How do you cope with the loneliness when you have no support system?

Is having bangs a crime now? Apparently, I’m "copying" someone. 🙄

I need to vent because this is the most ridiculous high school drama ever. Back in 9th grade, I had bangs, but because of how I styled them, they weren't super noticeable. Around that time, a new girl joined our school. She also had bangs. We ended up in the same friend group of 4-5 people. Fast forward to 10th/11th grade. Suddenly, her best friend accuses me of copying her just because my bangs are more visible now. I was completely stunned. Since when does one person own a universal hairstyle? Bangs were literally trending everywhere!

The backstory they don't know:Childhood: My mom used to give me a baby cut (basically bangs) when I was a kid.Insecurity: I have a large forehead and bangs make me feel confident.Family Drama: My family actually used to yell at me for cutting them. They claimed it made me look like a "pick-me" girl who only cared about fashion and boys instead of studying.

Despite my family's comments, I kept maintaining them—even cutting them myself during COVID—because they suit me and make me feel good.

It is absolutely wild to me that someone thinks having a common haircut means you're desperate to "copy" them or look superior. Has anyone else dealt with weird gatekeeping over something as basic as a hairstyle?

Constantly getting a cold, fever, and cough every morning. Any advice?

Bro, I'm just so frustrated because of it. What do you mean by getting a cold every morning? I also get a fever and a cough frequently. If anyone knows some solutions or tips that might help me keep myself healthy, I would really appreciate it..."
