Nighttrain waiting for departure in Coimbra, Portugal

Found this in my cameraroll. Took it in 2020 a few days before europe started shutting down. Travelled from Switzerland to Porto and took the nighttrain from Hendaye to Coimbra where i've changed to a local service for Porto (the nighttrain continued to Lissabon).

The bell rings to warn people from crossing the track as a train is coming or departing, so does the red light. The conductor is waiting to shut his door as the train didn't seem to have a door control, every door was shut manually. I remember the interior of the train being a bit dated but some great food being grilled in the dining car.

How is life in Pantelleria, Italy? And do you feel italian?

I wonder how it is to live on this little secluded island. Do you feel like you belong to italy or are you doing your own little thing?

Rollmaterialeinsatz Italien
