An anti-puzzle fan until I met mini

📥 THE BASICS

Purchased Item: Mini Puzzle Edge Soft-Grained Calfskin in Toffee Colour
Factory: Liusheng
Seller: Garmen
Price: $190 USD ($240-50 discount; shipping included)
Payment Method: PPFF

⏱️ LOGISTICS & TIMELINE

06/11: Paid & PSPs
06/18: Had to ask for tracking number
06/30: Received

⚠️ DISCLOSURE

I received a discount because I was unhappy with a previous purchase and a free bag charm. I fully intended to pay for the charm when they surprised me saying it was free. They asked for a review after I received the bag, I would’ve done so anyways based on the whole experience

🔍 THE DEEP DIVE

1. Rep Experience:
I’m usually an anti-puzzle person since I’ve read how it’s hard to get stuff out and the shape never appealed to me.

I learned about this mini when I asked Garmen for suggestions on a mini bag that I could take to work without the usual loud logos and they suggested this. I researched and decided on grained calfskin because I’d never sleep if I got the goatskin scratched up.

I liked it way more than I imagined. Perfect for work, fits a slim card holder, bulky key fob, lip gloss, and iPhone 14 Pro.

Leather is dry AF, so I slapped on a few coats of Honey Leather conditioner while massaging it in by hand + blow dryer on low heat = 😘😘 The strap feels thin and flimsy so I’ll be looking for something else—not the donut chain because I can’t get over how it looks like @n@l beads 💀

2. Seller Experience:
By far the best communication in English. They’re also honest, will tell you if something is average/poor quality (I.e. Damier Ebene mini pochette accessoires).

Good packaging, secure. PSPs were good and they didn’t hesitate to take more photos/videos.
I did have to ask for the tracking number after I hadn’t heard from them after 3 business days.

I did ask about Mango factory which Garmen hadn’t heard of which makes me think they either don’t have access or doesn’t have relationships with them.

D!0r D- Journey Lovers, I need your insight!

I’m normally not a Dior girly, but after seeing posts about this for vacation—hooked. It’s a plus when another person wrote that the medium could fit two wine bottles XD This is one of my most used bags as a working mom. Fast forward, I noticed the stitching started fraying. Is this normal for anyone else? It is on the side that comes into contact with my body.

Bought this from Mandy, DR96 factory.

QC Loewe Puzzle Edge

Loewe Puzzle Edge - Soft grained calfskin
*factory sent small instead of mini, seller will get it exchanged*

$240 (shipping included)

My thoughts:
- dry leather (possibly common?)
- hardware looks very yellow/brassy
- logo stamp has good depth, crisp and clean
- logo on hardware matches with (from other reviews)
- stitching is neat and tidy

Are there any obvious signs that I’ve overlooked? This will be my first puzzle.

QC Chanel Mini Rectangle Flap with Top Handle in Incas Calfskin Leather

First three are factory photos and the rest are PSPs.

Are my eyes playing tricks on me? Something about the length of the front lap and size of back pocket look off to me comparing the PSPs to the factory photos.

*24k gold plated hardware will run more yellow. It’s obvious the factory photos toned down the saturation. I’m aware of it being more yellow and that’s my preference. Please see the above paragraph for the concerns that I mentioned
