Grandmother’s Necklace

My grandmother recently passed away. It was just her and I. This was a necklace she had. Can anyone tell me what the two sides say? Thank you!

Stolas/Blitzø Art by Me

There is a second piece I did to go with this, but I think this is my favorite thing I’ve drawn so far for the hellaverse

No Time

My grandmother was put on hospice earlier this month. All her doctors and caregivers kept saying they aren’t seeing anything imminent happening.

In August, I was set to move back to Washington. I would have been living within ten minutes of her. I was going to be with her everyday.

On Tuesday, she stopped eating. Yesterday, I started driving from Texas to Washington to get with her early. I was going to get there Saturday. Her case manager thought I would make it. Said she was opening her eyes and still “connecting.” That she wasn’t worried about her passing soon.

She passed five hours into my drive.
Even if I had flown, I wouldn’t have gotten there in time.

I haven’t seen her since Thanksgiving 2023.
I’ve been working, dealing with health issues, and working on my master’s degree.

I feel just terrible. Such a deep seated guilt that I haven’t been there, and that I couldn’t make it.

She was an amazing woman, and I’m a lot like her. She was more like a mother to me. I have a lot to thank her for in my life.

Thank you for reading.

So Quick

My grandma passed away, as I was driving to be with her. I was set to move to be within 10 minutes of her in two weeks. But this Monday, she just took a sudden turn.

I had spoke with her nurse earlier and she thought I would make it. I started traveling today, but she passed away.

I’ve been her guardian for the last year. I’m so thankful to the teams that have supported her.

I’m so unbelievably sad.
I can’t believe I wasn’t there.

FIRETEAM OPS EXPERT RUNS

Looking for people to run two separate Fireteam Ops activities. I will need to run one with a modifier but the other can be a simple run through!
