Should I prune my jalapeños?!?

I've grown these six jalapeño plants from seeds in my little container garden on the roof of my building in central London (UK)

They seem to be good and healthy to my first-timer eyes, and a few buds are starting to appear at the top

My question is, should I prune them a bit, to let the plants focus on flowers/peppers?? Like people do with tomato plants??

Or should I just be patient and let them do their thing???

Any advice or suggestions would be welcome 🙂

White spots on leaves?!?

I'm a first-timer, growing about 20 tomato plants in containers on a roof garden in London England where we are currently enjoying/enduring a heatwave

Several different varieties, some I bought in pots but 12 were grown from seeds (gardener's delight I think)

Of the ones I bought in pots one is Jani

It has developed these white spots on three of the leaves, can anybody identify what they might be??

They are not something attached to the leaves, it's discoloration

It seems very healthy and happy otherwise

I'm grateful for any suggestions 🙂🍅

Old clip of band with CM on bass

Has anybody ever seen the clip of Chris M playing bass in a kind of cheesy band from before he became a satirist/comedian??

I saw it once on YouTubes but I can't find it any more, it was sort of extraordinary

I would love to watch it again

Perhaps I imagined it?!?

Lunchtime

It's fascinating to me as a new container gardener that I seem to have created a multi-layered ecosystem

Kebab near Oval?!?

Can anybody recommend a good takeaway kebab near the Oval in South London?

I've been to Kennington Lane Kebab and Lebanese Grill and, no offence intended but they did not do it for me

I think I heard Best Kebab on Walworth Road is good which is a bicycle ride but that is a small price to pay for a banging kebab in my opinion

Also possibly Camberwell, FM Mangal is a brilliant Turkish sitdown

I lived in Hackney for years so I'm used to Dalston/Green Lanes level of quality

Any suggestions welcome, thank you kebab lovers

Strange blackbird behaviour

Yesterday in my local community garden in SE London I saw this blackbird land, put down something he was carrying (it looked like a slug possibly) and then repeatedly wipe his beak on the ground from side to side in between eating bits of whatever it was

Does anybody know what was going on??

I thought perhaps the thing he was eating might be toxic or irritating him in some way

(Or maybe it's like that video of the dog doing a happy dance when he's given a pig's ear to eat?!?)

After a while he picked it up and flew away

ETA: Thanks everyone for your answers!

Advice please

I'm learning as I go with these two scotch bonnet plants

Do you think I should

Pinch out the early flowers????

And/or

Move them into bigger pots?!?

Any advice from pepper enthusiasts gratefully received

Advice on tomato plants please

I bought these three about 6 weeks ago, can anyone suggest why one looks so healthy and the other two don't??

Any suggestions on what I should do next??

ETA: yes as far as I know they're all the same variety, and they've all been treated the same since I had them

I haven't fertilised them, only watered them

I've grown these baby leeks and carrots from seeds, in a warm indoor place next to the window which gets three or four hours of sunlight in the mornings

They look to me like they're ready to replant in deeper planters but I'm a bit concerned about putting them outside in case they get too cold at night (in London England)

Can anybody advise me???

Can anyone suggest a reason why the tomato plant on the right looks a healthier colour than the two on the left?

Obvious answers might be

Over watering the left ones

Or

They should each have their own pot

But I don't know

Any suggestions gratefully received
