How can I stop sweating so much in the gym?

I've been going to the gym regularly now for about 6mo, started off with just cardio and in the last month switched to mostly strength training.

But I sweat so much. I leave the gym and my workout clothes have doubled in weight. I'm a bald guy so on my head it's got nowhere to go. I tried wearing a cap but it just seems to pool up in there. I carry a towel around with me but within half an hour it feels soaked.

I'm working out, so I know I'm gonna sweat, but already self-conscious it's putting me off sticking with it. It wasn't such a problem when running/rowing/etc., because I'm both zoned out and not affecting anyone else.

I will wipe down equipment after use, but my gym is so busy by the time I get back to the front desk where the wipes are kept someone's already on the way to the machine I was using.

I don't think I've got hyperhidrosis, I'm fine otherwise. I don't want to go to a doctor to be told, yeah dummy you're working out, you're gonna sweat. But Is there anything I can take to sweat less? Does anyone else have to deal with this?

Buying a used KTM in 2026?

Been looking at some KTM's but am aware the brand has had some financial issues lately. Would this put you off buying one?

How are KTM to live with generally? Are they reliable, easy to work on?

Thanks

What’s the ‘X’ symbol at the end of this hallmark?

I inherited this ring from a family member’s passing and I’m only interested in the story of the ring. I’ve looked up the hallmark online and can’t find any info on what the last X / cross symbol means.

I don’t own any/other jewellery so not familiar with hallmarks etc., and no references I see online feature anything like it.

Included the whole hallmark in case it helps.

Thank you.

Do all uberommander missions have maps?

Playing through TNC on my first playthrough and undertaking some of the ubercommander missions.

On some of the missions I’ve found maps, but not on others.

So my question is per title, are there maps for all of these missions? I’d like to find the collectibles and I understand that the maps have the locations of them on.

Thank you!

Luxury or sightseeing train ride suggestions please!

Hello Everyone,

My elderly mum’s favourite way to travel is by train, and as a gift I’d like to buy her a trip somewhere where she goes by train, or if the train itself is the attraction.

I sparingly go by train anywhere, and usually only ever for work, so when it comes to luxury trains, 1st class, picturesque views etc., I’m utterly clueless.

How would I go about arranging a trip by train, are there any operators or particular routes that have really nice views etc.?

The plan would be two tickets on either an iconic route or train, and with food and drink as part of the trip.

I’m useless at planning holidays for myself, so whether this makes up the main attraction somewhere or is simply the manner in which she gets there I’m all for.

Thank you all.

Edit: We are based in the East Midlands!

Which bike manufacturers to avoid for your first big bike?

I passed my DAS a few months ago now but haven’t got around to getting my first big bike - yet!

Everyone says for your 125cc, stick with Japanese if you can. But now I’ve been looking for bigger bikes I’ve seen far more brands than I’m familiar with, no idea if any of them I should steer clear of.

So am I best sticking with Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki etc. for my first proper bike, or are larger engines more forgiving? I’d like to do my own maintenance if possible, so the more beginner-friendly, the better.

Thanks
