How much longer would you let this APE AIO bag go? I got some chokers in there, some caps turned blue already and somewhat started separating, others are still yellow. Not marshmallow soft yet, even though it’s hard to tell through the bag ( it’s still sealed with slit at substrate level with micropore, which seems to give them great FC. Thank you for any help :)
Still can’t get this Ochra to pin :/ it’s been since 6/12 in FC. Past week I’ve kept the monotub lid cracked and I’m misting the sides of tub maybe once a day or every couple days just to keep some condensation on walls. Man she’s taking forever. Any additional tips at this point? Should I be scraping, casing changing conditions?
How close are we to pinning? Keeping the lid cracked at all times in 28 qt monotub, computer fan on nearby, backed off of misting almost completely ( I did must in the morning on sides and top of lid as the walls were completely dry)
Is this trich or did I just cause a lot of bruising by misting over the cake too many times? The cake just got very blue 😕 first pic is yesterday, the last two are today. Second flush of GT.
Finally seeing pins on my AIO ape bag about 12-14 days into FC. Should I be cutting more slits or hoodie tek the bag at this point or let it ride? I have just the filter patch and two slits cut at the substrate level on the opposite side of the bag covered with micropore tape. Thank you for any advice.
Moved my colonized Ochra AIO to the 28 qt monotub (I know I know people will say should’ve left it in the bag but I figured it’ll fruit better and on more sides). Anyway we’re about 8-9 days into FC, how are we looking? Other than micropore tape I haven’t been doing more FAE or misting thus far.
Second flush GT, moved from AIO to boomrbin. Didn’t fully scrape the cake, left some tiny pins from first flush hoping they’d grow but now I’m concerned about rot in that area. Any advice?
Looking for advice with Ochras in AIO. Bag still sealed with holes poked about an inch above cake around the bag with micropore tape over it. I see primordia forming (about 5 days into FC) I’ve been squeezing the bag couple times a day for extra FAE. Would you cut the bag hoodie tek style at this point or let it ride? I know they supposedly like more FAE? I also have a 28 quart monotub coming, and wondering if I should just move the cake in there to fruit.
