Sealing around foam boards?

Sealing around foam boards?

I got new windows put in and now want to insulate the wall with foam board. My instinct is to seal around the edges of each piece with low expansion spray foam as an air barrier, but I don't know if there would be an issue with that. In Alberta if that matters for code reasons.

Identifying fasteners for bezel clutch

Hello; I recently was given a ~20 year old Bulova watch, which is not notable enough to show up in the resources here. It's a dive watch (nominally) and so the bezel should spin only one direction, but the spring clutch can move freely in its race. There are two notches in the spring and two holes (possibly threaded) in the same location. My assumption is that there should be some sort of fastener here, but I can't find any information about it. Contacting the company has been no help, as they just want me to send it in and won't say anything else. This is my first time dealing with a bezel mechanism like this, so if anyone has information about how these usually work I would greatly appreciate some help.

Missing something for brownout-proof geothermal?

I've seen a few comments about geothermal power being vulnerable to brownouts, but this seems pretty easy as a solution - does it have any glaring flaws I haven't noticed? Steam and power export is southwards, and the pump/plant/hex are all on an isolated grid with a single steam engine.

How should I navigate this intersection?

I ran into this earlier today and made an absolute mess of it; was interested in how others would suggest handling it in the future. I was in South Common (first mistake) and trying to get out onto the multi-use pathway along 23rd Ave (purple arrow). I ended up in traffic on 99th Street, in the right-turn lane (red arrow). This meant I was holding up right-turning vehicles and when the light changed I went straight across and then into the crosswalk to the curb cut. Am I crazy to assume there must be a better way?
