i’ll be outside smoking, and these little super small tiny tiny gnat like things keep landing on me occasionally. i use the deep woods dry bug spray for the mosquitos, but these little shits don’t seem to care about it 😭 i also burn a citronella candle and idk. they just showed up maybe a few days ago when it got super hot. any ideas or remedies on how to keep them away from me? 🙏😭

i am feeling reminiscent this morning and have been thinking about my early 20s in baltimore and how fun it was. i’m in my early 30s now and it’s still fun but different lol.

it’s genuinely hard to choose one, but i think my favorite lived experience in baltimore was when i was freshly 21 and there was a sitar duo playing at sidebar and my buddy lived up the street and met me there. sidebar was the shit, and this show was unique and beautiful and really fucking cool i wish i could remember the name of the group. after the show we walked to the spot, got some food, and hung out back at his place. it was just simple but super fun and i remember my outfit was cute as fuck.

please educate me if it seems like i’m missing something, but how can we expect change if we keep voting in the same people that are clearly turning a profit from being in politics. looking for a discussion and different perspectives. i voted for moore, because felder was a joke of an option, but the other candidates (for house rep and county exec) i chose received the least amounts of votes. just feeling lost and unsure of why i bother.

now, i’ve always been a sweaty bitch basically since childhood. however i feel like in the last month or so this club has stopped using AC? i’m sweating through my entire shirt now during workouts, and it seems like machines aren’t drying off as quick after being wiped down. just curious if anyone else has felt the same.

it’s summer, and my (30F, idk if that matters in this situation) thick thighs already know it. most of my shorts are on the longer side, but lately it hasn’t mattered the length i’m just in a constant state of swamp ass. i’m looking for product recommendations that help with chafing + moisture. i use dove lavender body wash, and aveeno lavender lotion after the shower but not so much on my inner thighs as i’ve heard that can irritate the area/trap too much moisture. deodorant (currently using secret ph balance lavender) makes them itch. i’ve used megababe in the past with success however i don’t really think it’s great at absorbing the moisture 😭 please help, it’s only june.

i’ve started research on the folks running in the primary. this guy is touting a $23.85 minimum wage. how is this achievable? wouldn’t all the other reps need to be in agreement? i feel completely lost with these people because they say all this stuff and it never happens so what is the point? genuinely losing hope and i don’t have much knowledge around how these things work, i just know i’ve been told local government is the way to make change. any insight is helpful.
