Can I use the same modmail mod application message for another r/redditrequest

I have sent a modmail message for a moderation application and after getting no response I made a request for it on r/redditrequest which got denied, I am convinced the subreddit is unmoderated and one of the mods just made a random mod action in the last 30 days and would like to try for another request, can I use the previous modmail used for the new request?

Back in the 90's it was estimated that DOOM was installed in more computers than Binbows!

A pure horror DOOM.

Around the time of the release of DOOM 2016 the franchise was described as "popcorn horror"

(Source: https://gamesbeat.com/the-definitive-interview-on-the-making-of-doom/)

This is all well and good and I really think it fits for a fun and action packed power fantasy where you can sit back, relax, and kill some demons. I know the games can get more technical than that but the point still stands.

With this being said, I really wish that for a change of pace we would go in the direction of a pure actual horror game. In a way I want it to go back to the DOOM 3 ways, not in terms of gameplay as in that regard still want the same style of the most recent trilogy, but in terms of mood and setting.

I would like to see macabre, unsettling and even abstract looking environments that make you feel unnerved and on your guard as if it's wrong and unnatural for you to be there, disturbing and uncanny looking demons of the most unholy kind that come across as serious threats that make you feel the heavy impact of "I killed a demon in hell".

The plot, to fit the new themes, should stray away from sentinel and the Makyrs and focus more on supernatural, demonic and satanic elements. Making you feel uncomfortable by taking inspiration from surrealism, Christianity and then distorting religious descriptions of hell to get under your skin. Akin to the following nightmarish depictions of hell:

(Source: https://www.ranker.com/list/terrifying-paintings-of-hell/lea-rose-emery)

The DOOM Slayer himself should not be depicted as a cool demon killing badass but instead as a solemn and poor soul condemned to forever be trapped in hell with all the horrors that dwell in it, no redemption nor salvation, his presence in hell should be depicted as sad and hopeless and yet he remains stoic in the face of everything.

[desktop web] Reddit's front page is broken!

The front page of Reddit has been broken ever since they made "Best" the default sorting option which regularly fails to display the page properly or even anything at all, also happens on mobile.

This issue has been going on for months, definitely this entire year and then some, when is this going to get fixed? Really wish we could just have the option to select "Hot" as the default option and for them to fix "Best" while they're at it.

We must be better | Be aware of the "Be respectful" rule.

There are clearly a huge variety of different and conflicting opinions regarding the new announcement of "God of War: Laufey" within the community, discussing said opinions and disagreeing with others is fine as long as it is done respectfully, which unfortunately, has not always been the case.

Any disrespectful behavior, regardless of what it is, will be met with moderator action. Such actions being either a warning or a even a temporary/permanent ban from the community depending on severity.

Rule 2 - Be respectful

>Always be polite and respectful to everyone. > >Do not insult, harass, discriminate nor be disrespectful to anyone in any way. > >Do not purposefully incite fights nor provoke anyone into a conflict. > >If someone disrespects you do not disrespectfully retort back as doing so will also count as a violation of the "Be respectful" rule, simply report it or contact the Mod-Team by sending a message with a link to the content to be reviewed.

Happy Men's health awareness month!

Courier 6 is obviously doing fine after patrolling the irradiated, mutated monster infested mojave...right?

Happy Men's health awareness month!

Hopefully the DOOM Slayer is doing well after all these decades of fighting demons in hell!

Writing fanfiction while listening to music just hits different...

I usually like having something playing in the background while I write fanfiction, I have tried listening to videos essays about things I like or other documentary style content, this may be considered a bad habit as it could hinder your concentration.

However, when it comes to music, I feel the exact opposite. Whenever I listen to music, just the right music, somehow writing feels special as if I am being directly transported into the story getting me in just the right mood to keep me going when nothing else will.

It's truly magical.

How much do you describe canon material or do you just assume fandom familiarity?

When writing a fic for a pre-existent fandom how much do you describe canon characters and locations, such as their physical appearance and personalities, or do you just assume the readers of that fandom are already familiar with the canon and don't do it at all to avoid being redundant?

I am looking for a chill and cozy discord server to talk about topics such as gaming, anime and just nerd stuff all around.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

Thank you.
