Made the switch from a Clubsport DD+ to a lightly used Simucube 2 Sport!
The DD+ is a great piece of hardware but the Fanatec software really lets it down. Firmware updates feel like a gamble every time you have to do one (will my base get bricked or not?). So when the opportunity came up to switch I took it! Was able to get the Sport/wheel side QR for the same price I was able to sell my DD+/QR for!
Anyone running triple 1440p with a 5070? My CPU is a ryzen 7 9700x. Doesn't need to be ultra quality obviously but would also prefer no potato quality either lol. Ideally would get a 5070ti but only the OC are in stock in my area and it would cost 50% more than a 5070
I'm looking to upgrade from my 5060ti 16gb, which I bought and kind of regret a bit now. I'm looking at a 5070 or a 5070ti. I would go with the 5070ti if I can get one of the base cards but unfortunately those are almost impossible to come by so my options are only the overpriced OC editions.
The ASUS prime 5070ti OC goes for $1409 which seems ridiculous. A 5070 goes for $940 ish.
Current CPU is a Ryzen 7 9700x and 32GB of RAM. Main use case for gaming is sim racing and I'm currently on a 1440p 34" ultra wide. I want to eventually upgrade to 1440p triples and 5070ti would be ideal but was wondering if 5070 could do the job.
Any thoughts?

Not the fanciest or the most exciting upgrade but of all the money I’ve spent on upgrades, I think this book has been the most cost effective. $20 off Amazon and my driving has improved immensely because of it!
From May 2025 to May 2026. Was living in a hotel for work and had a Thrustmaster T300 strapped to a desk with the pedals pushed up against a wall and played GT7. In January I moved into an apartment so got access to my PC again so budget upgraded the pedals and to a wheel stand. Then upgraded my base to a Clubsport DD+ and got an ultra wide. Finally got a shifter for Assetto Corsa in VR, a monitor arm to bring it closer to me and a Simagic GT Neo!
Moving in the next few months so will hold off on triples and a rig until then. With that will also upgrade the pedals!
Hey everyone, just got the pc adapter for my headset and everything is set up for the most part minus the centering.
Currently it’s off center slightly. Which is playable but annoying. However sometimes when I start a game (automobilista 2 or assetto corsa) it goes way out of whack.
What’s the proper way to set the center?
