JFK -> BUR delay due to route dispute with ATC?
Flight 358 was supposed to depart at 5:05. Currently sitting on the plane at the gate with a scheduled departure of 7:04 (we’ll see). Passengers have been permitted to deplane to “stretch their legs” in the terminal.
The pilot says that ATC is giving them a new route that they won’t be able to achieve with the fuel capacity of the plane. Discussions have been going on with ATC for an hour and a half. What is happening here?
