Should I tell my college roommate about my tourettes ahead of time???

I'm moving into my university later this week, and I'm a little worried. Idk if I should let my roommate know about my tourettes now, and let him ask any questions he wants before we're face to face blah blah blah, or if I should just go, tic, and be like "oop ignore that I've got tourettes. It will happen again"

Like what do I dooo man?????

Exercising a high energy dog when it's 110° out

Basically what the title says. I've got a 2 year old corgi mix with boundless energy, usually being put to use to cause mischief. She's either chasing cats or chewing on stuff. I want to take her out and get her moving, but it is soooo hot out, and like 60% humidity on top of that. How do I redirect her energy in a productive manner when it's too hot out for a walk? She enjoys training, but I'm not sure what to train her to do, and even then that doesn't take care of much of her physical energy, y'know??

Moped midwinter?

Hey, so I'm going to sdsmt and I'm trying to figure out transportation for the coming school year. Any car in my price range (under $10k) is going to have some problems, and a shit ton of maintenance (source: my family got a car under 10k and it's been in the shop like 5 times in the year we got it). Also, I just kinda hate driving. I only need transportation for short trips in town, so I was thinking a 49cc scooter could do the trick. However: winter. I'm from Illinois, and have no idea how bad it can get. My question is, would all the PPE (helmet, jacket, boots? I think?) plus bundling up be enough to keep me warm ish on a 3 minute ride for the majority of the school year (I would be willing to Uber in some cases)???

Too late to change my name again?

Hey, so I chose my name when I was 12. It was 2020, I had been figuring some stuff out during quarantine, and decided I wanted to find a more gender affirming name. Sounds great, right? I chose the name Griffin, and I've been going by it since then. I'm 18 now, and I'm more... Idk. Boring? I'm having some regret. The name Griffin seems a little too clocky or wtvr, a little too out there/interesting. I'm wishing I had chosen the name my parents were going to name me, William (aka bill/billy, really so many options nickname wise). Nice, simple, kinda boring but easily identifiable as a "male" name. I don't hate the name Griffin, but there's something in the back of my mind not quite happy with it anymore. But I don't know if it's too late for me to change it again, after using it for the past 6 years. Idk what I'm fishing for here, just some kind input ig. For the record, I'm not out to my extended or some of my immediate family yet, so it wouldn't take them any more getting used to than telling them I go by Griffin. Really, what's stopping me? I have Griffin on my snap chat, but I could just say it's a nickname, or my middle name...
