Am I owed refund

Flying from Istanbul to Yaounde. The flight makes a stop at Douala, first before getting to Yaounde.

Well my flight from Douala to Yaounde was cancelled due to poor weather conditions.

Well left the flight and was told that we would be given a hotel to stay at. After 3 hours of standing outside Douala airport, there was no accommodation in sight. We were basically left stranded and left to make our own way to our final destination.

I have filled in the feedback forms about 3 times and I have been told that there records do not show this and then finally that they have fully investigated this and I am owed no refund.

Is this real? What should I do going about this.

My bf (25m) is in a rut, we have just started dating.

I (25f) met my boyfriend last year while on holiday, we spent a week together before I had to leave. I was going to travel back to the country the following year to start a business and we thought it would be good to try and get to know each other since I had plans of coming back. After a few months (3 months) it’s started to get serious and after sometime we both committed to each other and to a long distance relationship.

He didn’t believe that I was serious or that I was interested in him for a long time. After 6months, I booked my ticket to see him. In this first month of me being back in his country I have never felt so much stress in my life.

He was working for the 6 months we did long distance but he left his job to spend time with and my visit. He cold turkey quit the job. I found out on arrival that he saved nothing in that time. He used it to buy a laptop and a phone because he wants to work remotely.

Now that I’m here with him, he has been nothing but stressed and sad about his financial situation. All of his friends are making a way for themselves and leaving the country to better their lives. This seems to be happening every month, a really close friend of his would be leaving the country. He also wants to leave the country but after failed attempts and lost money he has kind of given up.

He keeps asking me about my business and telling me to set it up, but I am quite stressed because I honestly have never been in a relationship where I am doing most of the thinking and btw I am paying for everything. Like everything we do and eat I am paying for. It’s stressing me out because I feel like I’ve committed to something that is way above me. Like I’m this foreign girl with lots of money that can help him out of his situation. Well yes, I did say to him that I want us to be married and live together and no longer do long distance.. but I didn’t actually understand that in me saying that, I have become his only hope for doing something with himself which is to get married and leave the country.

Well recently his flatmate who he’s been staying at for free aswell, told him that he’s going to be moving out. And he will be trying to do so, in the time that I am here. This makes me extremely stressed out because I really don’t know how to help?? I just feel so much anxiety being with him. I don’t feel like he even understand where my head is at.

Is this something we can work through or will have to call it quits? He is seriously depressed and I feel like it’s unfair to expect me to pick everything up for him.. I’m not in that position at all.

Applying for family visa for my African boyfriend

Hello all,

Just wanted to get the best advice possible on how I could be going about applying for a visa for my Cameroonian boyfriend.

I myself have gone through the immigration process and have been a British citizen since 2018.

I met my bf on a visit back to Cameroon and I desperately want him to be with me in the UK. He has a BA however because of the job insecurity in Africa he has not been working.

I would love for him to come over and be able to work as-well. We are both young adults 25 years.

Is the family visa the best way to go about this? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I love how hydrated my face is when I do my morning skincare routine, however by the late afternoon I crave a fresh hydrated face again.

When I’m not working, I use the gym as a good opportunity to have three face washes.

However long term. I’m not sure how I can upkeep my initial morning glow, without washing again. Does anyone have a mid day face wash? Would this be too harsh on the skin everyday?

Is there anything else I can do throughout the day that make my face feel cleansed and hydrated. Emphasising cleansed because I feel like using a hydrating spray for example would just make my skin feel ‘dirty’ and not cleansed and fresh.

Product list: (AM) Elemis cleanser, essence, vitamin c, caledulla toner, eucerin cream, Anua sunscreen.
