Medicube - Made in China??!

I almost never post here these days and now it’s 3 times in one day.

Yesterday I got the new Medicube Deodorant. It is made in the PRC. I am once again baffled.

A Google says that Medicube made in China is almost certainly counterfeit. I do NOT think this is counterfeit. The seller is Medicube - April Skin. There’s absolutely nothing about this online. The only mention of its existence that I could find was on Amazon and TikTok.

But, WTLF? I don’t ever do anything made in China regardless of what it is. I got some Laura Geller lip masks recently and they were made in China so after a quick test on my band, they went straight in the trash.

This smells so good. I’m so……. baffled, again. Had anyone seen a Medicube made in China before?

Empty package strikes again. A Lu'Pium serum. I'm not heartbroken - it's fine to go without it. But, how does a totally sealed envelope have nothing in it??

I was hopeful it was my husband's 7 year sobriety coin that's 3 days late and not Vine... his soberversary is tomorrow. That would have made sense for being so flat and light. Alas, no.

It's baffling. Like, literally how does this happen? I've had a torn or damaged package with no product inside but this one was one of the white, plastic envelopes and.......... just completely sealed. YOU HAD ONE JOB!

Still so many bad days….but not always

I’m sure we all are in this big periods of droughts still. I get frustrated and sad. And then a good day happens. I wasn’t going to grab the last Medicube or the Mixsoon but I changed my mind at 11:57 PST. The Mixsoon is my shade and I still have several other shades in there now. The RLT was AI at like 11:59. Excited for the chest piece.

The laser… I errored on the duo but love that I got one of them. Hope you all are having a good day at least here and there. ❤️

Neutralizing greenish tones

Hi! I've had purple over balayage for a long time, and when I got it redone yesterday, I was curious how much purple we could pull out - and if it worked out well, I'd leave it blond for a bit. Surprisingly, the purple was nearly gone! I love my stylist and she used (I think), a darker copper toner, and I think it looks really great but there's a tinge of green tone. I'd like to re-tone that at home to get the green out because my stylist is dealing with a family emergency. I put my daughter through cosmetology school and she just let her license lapse (she didn't pursue hair after school). I can help get her license restored, so I can hit a good shop but before I do that, I was hoping to double check with someone. Would I go with a pink toner? Rose gold? Is there a brand you'd recommend that I could get outside of a beauty supply store, or would I better off at a place like Cosmoprof? I'm including a before and after shot. Thanks so much - I don't think I'm going back to purple!

And, I know that my before hair was looking awful. I had brain surgery and had to leave my scalp alone for about a year after. Thank you!

Finally making it to the fragrance bucket

It took so long to make it into the fragrance bucket, but between SDJ and finally Phlur, I feel like it’s working. Yesterday was an interesting day. I don’t usually grab things after midnight but grabbed the Sur la tablet to try to get in that bucket, a giant cat tree - like too big and so cool, and then at 12:59, the Juicy rug. I debated on the rug forever - I don’t really need it but I want to be in the bucket for fragrances. 😂

It’s feast or famine these days but I’m happy with yesterday.
