Only way to tell that Smart Rapid Charging is working?

I've got a OnePlus 13 with OxygenOS 16.0.9. I think I remember that if I went to Settings > Battery > Charging settings and turned on Smart rapid charging, then when I plugged my phone into an official SuperVOOC charger with an official red cable, I used to get a notification about the phone potentially getting warm. At some point I stopped getting that notification, and I wasn't able to find any indication that Smart Rapid Charging was working at all.

But now I've found an indication on the lock screen. If I've got Smart Rapid Charging enabled, I turn off my screen and then tap it to see the lock screen, and I plug in the OnePlus charger, I get three bits of text:

- SUPERVOOC (tm)

- Ultra-fast charging... XX%

- Smart rapid charging is on

See the screenshot to see what I mean. If I leave Smart Rapid Charging enabled but then plug in a non-OnePlus charger (Anker, 25W), then the SuperVOOC and ultra-fast messages both still appear on my lock screen, but not the Smart Rapid Charging one.

Is this the only way to confirm that Smart Rapid Charging is actually working? Has anyone found any other spots where it's indicated?

Moxie blind taste test: Glass bottle from Orca vs. canned

I got some original elixir Moxie in glass bottles, bottled by Orca. I wanted to do a blind taste test against distinctively different Moxie in a metal can from Coca-Cola.

Firstly, the ingredients lists: The bottle has pure cane sugar while the can has high fructose corn syrup. Also, the can's gentian root extractives comes before the natural & artificial flavors, caramel color, and sodium benzoate, while on the bottle the gentian root extractives comes after those other ingredients. Otherwise, the listed ingredients are identical.

The can is bottled by a member of the Coca-Cola Bottlers' Association under authority of the Coca-Cola Company, while the bottle is bottled by Orca Beverage Inc. under authority of Cornicopia Beverage Co.

I got the cans from Hannaford in Auburn, and the bottles from Food City in Lisbon. I'm not sure if Food City always has some glass bottled Moxie, or if they only had it at the time for Moxie Festival.

I had both refrigerated to the same temperature, and a friend poured them into numbered cups while I wasn't looking. In the end, I liked the glass bottled Moxie a little more, but overall the differences were rather subtle. I think I can only tell the difference between them when I drink them both at the same time, or maybe I could if I'd been drinking both for a long time.

The glass bottled Moxie from Orca was: Stronger smelling, more rounded sweetness, less bitter, less carbonated, and had a faint interesting extra flavor, maybe a bit sour.

The metal canned Moxie from Coca-Cola was: Weaker smelling, flatter sweetness, more bitter, and more carbonated.

The difference in sweetness (rounded vs. flat) was the most obvious, and is expected. I think the rest of the differences come from how that sweetness interacts with the gentian root, as well as differences in carbonation amounts and maybe the difference of glass vs. aluminum containers.

What's the first online game you remember playing?

I mean actually connecting over the internet, playing with or against people not on your LAN. For me it was Comanche 4, followed shortly after by the Halo: Combat Evolved trial, and Runescape. I remember realizing that I was hearing voices in Comanche 4, and eventually figuring out they were speaking Russian. That's when I said to myself, "this is weird." And I kept playing.

Using my OnePlus 13 camera, night mode, tripod on, timer on, 120x zoom, and mounted on a tripod. The big blob is Jupiter. I think the small dot to the upper left is Callisto. The one to the lower right really close to the blob is Ganymede. And the one to the upper right is a star named HD 57449.
