CaitVi relationship, masc4masc?

CAITLYN, VI, and Piltover's GENDER system. What is FEMININITY in Arcane? (Arcane video essay)

Personally, I don't see either of them as butch or femme, but if we're going to label them anyway... I see CaitVi as closer to a masc4masc wlw couple representation, or at least masc4andro. Caitlyn doesn't really show any traits or outfits that are typical of a stereotypical femme in the series. I think the fanarts push it too far.

Of course, any sapphic girl can identify as a femme if she feels the label fits her best, but the difference between Caitlyn Kiramman's original design and the fanarts is too far.

Official completion date vs. CAS end date for MSc?

I’m trying to confirm the official date of "award" or "completion" for an MSc at Imperial 2025-2026.

  • My CAS end date is 30 September 2026.
  • However, I’ve heard the official graduation/award date is actually 1 November 2026.

Does anyone know which of these counts as the "official" date for the university and the Home Office? Also, do we get an automated email when the university officially confirms we have completed the course?

Type Me Post ❤️

Vibe check based on memes are okay, but if you want to type me in more detail:

My priorities & how I see myself:

  • I prioritize being independent, having autonomy, not having anyone to control me, doing whatever I want, and being able to protect myself or my people.
  • I'm very combative, easily angered, and I hate people controlling me. I'm not disciplined, I hate orders and rules. I'm not really anti-authority, but I dislike being ordered around, so I prefer to avoid structural hierarchies or at least being the one who controls them.
  • Sometimes I have short bursts of anxiety about my competency and whether or not I can ensure my own survival without having to depend on anyone else, though it goes away quickly because of my self-assurance.
  • Sometimes I do things because they're rational or ensure my survival (too good to miss out) rather than because I am highly passionate about them. I see myself as a high-opportunist who wants to ensure a good and enjoyable life for myself and my chosen people.
  • I enjoy internal thinking and refining logic and reasoning, and I brainstorm loudly. I am a scientist. I do find science fascinating, but I don't have any specific topic that I'm passionate about. I have no hobbies and find nothing interesting enough to do or add to my bucket list.
  • When I'm at my lowest, I detach from my own feelings. I think of myself as an ordinary or common person living a very typical life that everyone or people before me have already lived. Also, in general, I find people who find joy in authenticity weird or unrealistic.

Social & Image?

  • I'm highly introverted and rarely talk to other people that are not in my circle. It's a comfort zone where no mental energy is wasted. I am okay with catching attention, but I don't want to get close to people. I build walls around me, but I am fine with them being made of glass.
  • I'm NOT a private person. I don't care enough about social judgment to mind whether I am seen positively or negatively. I just don't want to sit on the sidelines, I want to be involved and experience everything the world has to offer. I don't want to always be an observer, so if that means I am not invincible anymore, that is okay.
  • I love being needed and having people depend on me. I want to achieve big things to be essential, so people can come to me and ask for my help, knowing that they need me and thank me feeds my ego and makes me proud of what I can do.
  • Being loved for "simply being myself" or "just existing" sounds humiliating. That makes me feel like a decorative object or a pet, static and passive. I would rather not be loved at all than be loved for that reason. I want to be loved for my actions and my utility. I prefer being the giver, the one who gives affection and protection.
  • I adore people who can become the pillar of their circle, and while I don't care about that person specifically, sometimes I wish for that role myself. I want to be able to help and protect, becoming the guidance for my own chosen people.
  • I don't want to be a caretaker or have a burden of responsibilities. I want freedom, to be able to do what I like whenever I want it, but I'd love be able to spoil my lover (not because they can't survive on their own, but just as a luxury).
