For those who have listened to both versions a lot, is there a noticeable difference between the original and XX? I have the original, and origin of muse remaster, so getting it would be a 3rd version of the album (not including the live version). I always get distracted from checking it out by other things on my “to listen to” list.

Does anyone have any idea what was going on with movies 2005-2009? I can’t think of any other 5 year window before or since that had 4 movies made of some of the biggest standalone graphic novels out there. Excluding the Marvel/Disney flood.

What a run.
My Sony Blu ray player of 10-15 years finally died, and I’m looking at a replacement. I was thinking about a region-free player (to be used in the U.S.), but I’ve seen foreign blu rays/dvds that don’t have English subtitles. Being able to play them but not understand seems like snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
What are people’s thoughts on entry-level region free blu ray players. Are they worth it?
