So.....I got into Sim racing with GT7 and Assetto Corsa 1 as of 2 years ago. I started out on gamepad and gradually took off assists as well as learning better gamepad setups from Coach Dave's Academy. But, I wanted something more so I decided to purchase a wheel and pedal set. However, I'm kinda broke so I chose the cheapest option (for my budget)

So my setup consists of (not all bought at the same time btw)

MSI Katana 15 inch 3060 Laptop

32 Inch Samsung TV

HORI Racing Wheel Apex

Amazon 7 + R + Sequential Shifter

Amazon USB Handbrake

TV Dinner Tray (wheel stand)

Foldable Patio Chair (with adjustable angle and cushions)

Honestly, I've had fun with it, and I feel that I made a good investment with it, without feeling like I put myself in debt.

I've played full motion direct drive simucube setups from sim racing cafes and to be honest.....it kind of felt the same? Just more expensive and immersive. But either way, I was able to control cars well, win races, and have fun.

So my question is...

Am I stupid for feeling content with my setup and not wanting an upgrade? 🤔

What is your personal ranking of the official shows and movies? (excluding battle stages since they are just recaps/music videos)For me it goes:
