Nardis - chord melody

Featuring the loudest trem springs. Also not even a real jazzmaster 💩

Donna Lee but it’s all pentatonic

Longtime gigging musician but new-ish student of jazz guitar. Been doing a lot of jazz gigs over the last couple years that mostly involve just reading down super simple charts but every once in a while someone will call a tune with a lot of changes and it feels like I’m just fighting to survive over them 😂 definitely have a tendency to latch onto pentatonic/bluesy vocab and probably play way too many notes. I’ve transcribed most of Charlie Parker’s solo on this tune and it’s helped me understand it a bit more, but I’m not really able to apply it to my own playing yet.

Why must this game mock me

learned this spell at basically the beginning of the game and not once have I ever ever been able to use it. Is it bugged? I’ve tried it on other creatures like wolves that were summoned by enemies as well and no dice.
