A new laptop for work

I travel quite a bit for my job and I usually miss having my PC at home. This seems like the best of both worlds. I mainly run PoE 2 and D4 on it. Both games run great, avg temp around 70c, fps capped at 90 in both games.

What defense is everyone running this league?

Curious what defensive layer people are running this league. Recoup seems really strong, so I've been running that on my mana stacking Chrono, feels extremely tanky.

Should have doubled up on these

Been wearing these since release and I get stopped by strangers asking for an ID on them all the time. One of the best releases in the last decade.

What else do you buy with the skateboard?

I started skating about 3 weeks ago and I have really enjoyed it. I have purchased all the necessary pads, skate shoes, and some baggy jeans. What else do you guys think would be "useful" to have?

Thanks.

I've been out of the job market for a long time, and have been in my current role for over a decade. Got contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn for a FSE II role in biotech. Went through the interview process and they offered me the position. They are offering $40/hr with OT and a guaranteed profit sharing bonus of 7%. Doing my research (asking AI), it says this is above the average for an FSE II. It's a pay cut from my current role but, the overall package seems better. Is this a fair/decent offer in the current market?

Did an interview with a hiring manager last Tuesday, we hit it off and he really liked me. He gave me his cell and told me to call him if I don't hear back. The recruiter called me that Friday to verbally offer me the position; she also said she'll send the offer letter on Monday. Nothing came this past Monday. What should I do next?

  1. Should I call or email the recruiter? Will that make me seem too "desperate" if I do?

  2. Should I call the hiring manager?

  3. Do nothing and wait
