I potted my first lotus seeds just 4 days ago and within 4 days, it seems to have decayed and dying. Any suggestions about what I did wrong and how can i rectify that well be welcome🙏🏻

After several failed attempts, finally some lotus seeds have survived to reach the potting stage. (Location - Lucknow) 😭

1. Direct sunlight vs shade vs sun from under the shade

2. How frequently to change water after potting

3. Scheduling of manure and NPK addition

​

4. Any suggested locations in Lucknow to source chikni mitti? On Amazon, it's 200 rupees per kg and no plant nursery near my location within Lucknow stocks it- they say you have to find some village guy and get him to go to a pond and get it, but I don't know any village people.

Hello. Basically the title- doing the lotus planting for the first time. Amazon-bought seeds. Location - Lucknow. Need to know if I should move to potting this in soil or wait a couple of more days.
