Need help finding anything I like...

I have been gaming since 1987, and I own just about every console that game out since then.

But lately I've fallen out of love with gaming I guess. I bought a Switch 2 at release with MKW and had two fun nights with friends but never played it after that. The second game I bought was DK:B but didn't play much more than 10 hours.

Now I am just trying out demos, RE:Requiem, Star Fox, Denshattack and some others. None really clicked for me. I thought I would like Disco Elysium as a casual game, but the crashes really annoy me and I deleted it because of those issues.

I am just not sure what would spark my love for gaming again. I never really loved BotW on the Switch 1, I hated the respawning of enemies. I just want to do the temples and puzzles. The combat felt too much investment from me, when I haven't played for a week I forget all the buttons and fight moves.

I tried viewing best games YouTube videos, deep diving in metacritic but it feels like randomly throwing money at games hoping that it sticks.

Maybe it's just a lost cause and I needed to write this down to realize my gaming days are over...

Able Carry Max EDC: first impressions from a newbie.

After owning several, not very special bags, I thought I would dip my toes into the world of "the better backpacks".

Since I wanted something that would be versatile I ended up ordering an Able Carry Max EDC. I also considered a CHZ26 and the Aer CPP2. The Evergoods got dropped after I found out it only comes in black in X-Pac, which is preferred because of our three cats. The Aer is not available in Europe and 72 euros shipping and possible return costs put me off.

So here I am, the Max EDC (in Ocean Blue) came in today. And these are my first impressions after dropping in some basic stuff and trying it on. Pictures here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ManyBaggers/s/d5cMFDzQC4

Love the color, better than I thought it would be. Don't love the cream on the inside though. Makes it feel very old fashioned or classic. A bright orange would've made this an amazing color combo.

Picking it up I noticed how heavy it is, my current bag weighs almost half at around 800 grams. I just tell my self the majority of the weight will come from the stuff I put in, but I never see me hiking with this (I have a Deuter Futura for that anyway).

Loading it out I wish there was more organisation, what's mostly missing is an admin section in the middle of the bag. The rest I think will suffice.

I am glad I didn't go smaller though as I think this is just enough for an EDC and I don't even pack that much (laptop, earbuds, sunglasses, wallet, keys, some food, hydro flask wide 32oz, charger, and a power bank. And I slways want room for a rain coat or sweater.

Comfort wise, luckily I didn't notice the poking strap mounts that have been discussed on here. Otherwise I find it a bit weird how it sits on my shoulders. When I wear it high the shoulder pads seem to not hug my shoulders but stick out at an angle because they are quite stiff.

When I wear it low on my back the sternum strap at its lowest setting is almost in my neck.

I am 189cm (6"2) at about 95 kgs.

Quality, can't say anything about how it will last but I really don't see much difference with bags that cost half or even less.

I'll probably keep it though, as I don't know what else I would get. 🫠

Saros 20 Sonic, after a week

I upgraded from an S8 Pro Ultra, which was a free replacement of an S7 MaxV. I also own an S6 MaxV and before that an S50, early days.

In our house the main roborock does about 2 hours a day, vacuuming and mopping every night, so you could say we are moderately heavy users.

After a week of use I noticed some good and some bad things.

Good:

- I like the new dock design, even though I miss the handles for the watertanks, I like the cleaner look.

- the Saros 20 during operation is noticeably quiter although the sounds is more high pitched

- auto dosing cleaner is a nice improvement

Bad:

- the high pitched sound travels further to other rooms so although the noise level is lower, you can hear it better, if that makes sense

- no included anti odor modules for waste tank or silver ion module

- would've liked a white top better on the robot itself

- flexi arm adds nothing, it never uses it?

Horrible:

- the routing is a major step down, takes much longer to clean a room and does weird things or avoids areas for no reason.

- I tell it to mop only, starts vacuuming...

- watertank of the robot seems smaller, multi floor mopping has become a pita

- still issues with furniture that have a crossbar design foot

All in all, I hope they solve the most issues with updates because at this point I cannot recommend the Saros 20 Sonic.

Saros 20 Sonic: weird noise?

Is this high pitched whining noise normal? Our S8 Pro Ultra or any other Roborock that came before it didn't have this. I alway run it when I go to bed, but it's the first time a roborock has kept me awake from downstairs.
