should this be concerning?

2019 f150 3.5l ecoboost 88k
I was changing my sparkplugs and boots, wow did that made a difference.

As i was working i noticed what appears to be a phase controller or cam sensor thats weeping oil. All the others were dry. I cleaned it up and will check it again. But ive seen this before on other motors and it usually means oil got through the sensor into the electronics.

I am guessing its compromised..??
I still have a drivetrain warranty.

thoughts..?

thanks!

high tds after RO system?

hi all

i have 4 stage filter plus ro filter from US water systems. the tds before is 185-250, after the system is 55-80ppm.

i know we have a lot of calcium in the water .

So would you consider that to be high? from what i read it should be lower than 50ppm

im going to call the manufacturer on Tuesday, just hoping for some input.

thanks!

hi

i have an exmark viking with two hydro-gear pumps pe-1kqq-dy1x-xxxx. and two motors

the bypass plug threads on the left if completely stripped and galled, 1st couple threads missing on the pump side.

the. left side will barely push the mower, quits up hill at all.

would it be worth it to rebuild that side and maybe heli-coil a new bypass plug in?

maybe take it to a machine shop?

i saw new pumps are around $600 are there reman pumps available?
