1000€ - practically new. in my size. to buy or not to buy? help me decide. . . (Xs, and it’s really hard to find Xs bikes!)

taking the train and I have 5 free days. I love small towns, nature, hikes (up to 15km), possible bike ride (rental bike) and of course good food. would like to stay within about a 2 hour train ride from Bologna. recommendations? Grazie!

Looking in to ferry/transport options, given flight cancellations and the duration of the trains. Has anyone had experience with Grimaldi lines along this route? I'm not seeing any cabins available, though it's an 18+ hour journey. Anyone know of any other ferry lines going from Almalfi Coast to Barcelona - or nearby area? Thanks!
