Hi! I accidentally ordered these for my first self-piercing. I wanted the ones with a cannula (I hope that's what it's called, I'm not a native engliah speaker, sorry). Is there a way to use the "naked" ones safely as a beginner or should I just throw them away?

As promised, here are some hacks for you guys. Sorry if it's long but I wanted to explain it in detail.

I will mention all of them, even though some are known by most.

But before I start, a few words:

These hacks are possible because the devs allow them! If they wouldn't be okay with them, they'd put measures in place to prevent us from using them. User interaction makes an app valuable. The more you tap on your screen, the better for them. ;)

That being said, there is one hack they do not like. I'll mention it at the end.

So, here we go:

First of all, I'll quickly explain how to do manual backups.

Go to the settings (the three lines top left) > Your data > Manual Backup > Create backup file > save backup to > Google drive > don't change file name, tap Location > tap folder symbol with the + on the top right > name folder after your birb and create > Select > Upload.

I personally do three backups at once because even though it's rare, they can get corrupted. Two should be enough though, I'm just anxious lol

To load a file do the same but tap Load manual backup instead and open the file from you birbs folder.

This is essential for EVERY user, regardless of you're using hacks or not. The cloud is not safe!

Alright, now to the hacks.

1. Stone farming

Goal x100 / Goal of the day

Set all your goals to 100x. Then tap a goal, set it as "Goal of the day" (above the pop up). Now tick it off 99 times, take it off the "goal of the day" setting and move on to the next goal.

!!Don't tap to 100 because you can only do Gotd one time!!

Like this you'll get 11-14 stones instead of 3-5 per tap!!

Plushie bank

Make spare accounts. As many as you like. For that, you make a manual backup first (!!!) then go to your Settings > Apps and clear all data of your finch app. Now open it and you'll get to the log in screen. Tap "Hatch a new pet" and do that. When you're done, make a manual backup of your new birb and safe it in a new folder you create named after your new birb.

Now you're using another hack (multi gifting which I'll explain later) and send five plushies to your spare(s). Now you can send yourself plushies whenever you need stones and sell them. I'd recommend finchie plushies since they get you 10k. The others are 7.5k.

2. Multi Gifting

Make a manual backup - this is essential! Then send gifts to as many friends as you like. When you're done you load the backup and you'll have all your stuff back and the stones you spent because your app goes back to the state before you started gifting.

You can do the gifting and loading five times per friend! After that, you're in "gift jail" for 24 hrs.

NOTE: The reloading can jumble up your tree friends if you sorted them in a certain way. If it does, don't panic, just reload your backup until it's back to normal.

3. Egg farming

Make a spare birb. Give them an egg, nurture it for 6 days. Make backup every time you're done ticking of the egg goal.

On the 7th day DO NOT TICK OFF THE EGG GOAL!

Open your birb, start the day, then make a backup!

Now you can hatch the egg and if you don't like what you got, load your pre opening backup and hatch the egg again. You can do this an unlimited amount of times.

And if you get a pet you want, just send it to your main birb.

You can do with your birb whatever you want just make sure to not hatch the egg before.

Like, let's say you want that birb to buy from the shop. Leave the egg, do your shopping or plushie sending and make a backup. As long as you don't hatch the egg before saving, it'll always stay on day 7 and can be hatched any time.

5. Time traveling

This one is the taboo.

I decided not to post it since I'm not sure if the mods are okay with this one. If you want to know how to do it you can dm me. But be aware that it'll mess with your app.

Also, the devs seem to be working on ways to stop people from using it - at least to do chest farming at the beginning of new themes.
