What are some funny/playful phrases you use as comebacks?

I’m looking for those sarcastic little phrases you can use when joking around with someone. Not phrases with actual insults, but just playful banter. For example, when someone tells a bad joke and you reply with, “that was so funny I forgot to laugh”.

Experience with dating a pilot in a long distance relationship?

I’m curious to know about other people’s experiences dating airline pilots. For those who started dating a pilot for a couple of months before transitioning into a long distance relationship, what was that like?

I know that every person is different, and it’s important to judge someone based on their character rather than their profession. However, I’m wondering if infidelity is genuinely more common in this line of work, or if it’s mostly a stereotype.

What are some good psychological thriller movies with suspense and twists?

I’m looking for movies that are suspenseful, mysterious, and ominous. I really enjoy watching horror, or anything that is a psychological thriller with some good twists and turns in its plot. Any recommendations?

Thoughts on therapists dating other therapists (or at least dating people within the psychology field)?

I have met several great potential partners in the dating scene, and I have also had long-term relationships with former partners in many different professions, such as a pilot, being in the military, an electrician, etc. However, within the dating scene and in my previous partnerships, I have often felt like I know a lot about the other person and they know very little about me. Additionally, the people I date or attract never seem to ask any questions about me either.

As therapists, many of us naturally embody traits of empathy, attentiveness, and curiosity. Then, the training and experience of our job allows us to refine and retune these interpersonal skills even more. Because of this, I really value emotional intelligence when considering a long-term partner.

With that being said, I don’t know how I feel about making my dating scene so narrow, that it is only made up individuals who work within the psychology profession. However, I keep feeling lonely in my romantic dynamics because of how curious I am about my partner’s inner world, and how there is never much curiosity on their side about my inner world. Sometimes it leaves me with a longing to be known, especially when I prioritize making others feel seen all the time. Moreover, I think therapists share many qualities that I find attractive, but I have also heard of the silly myth that when therapists date other therapists, all they do is psychoanalyze each other. Since I have never dated someone in the same field as me, I can’t really speak from my own experience on this.

I’m curious to know if others feel similar to this, or if anyone is willing to share their thoughts, opinions, or experiences? I am also very open to feedback too, if anyone has recommendations on anything I could do differently too.

Any concealers better than NARS for mature/dry skin?

I have tried the hourglass concealer and I didn’t enjoy how heavy it felt. I have dry skin, but I live in a humid state and I keep coming back to the NARS concealer because it is light weight and great coverage. However, I can’t stand how the NARS concealer creases. Anyone have any recommendations? I don’t really mind if it is not drugstore, but I don’t have a lot of makeup experience!
