We are a small community of casual gamers and game dev from all walks of life. We have been creating a grind-free, 9-5 friendly community of like-minded people. We are about 200 right now active in minecraft, hell divers 2 and CS2 and COH3. We have even been working on hosting a game jam by the end of this year. We are not in for making a profit or any end goal to be honest, we host servers at our own cost and organize events in our own time. Purely a passion project for most of us.
We are trying to create a foundational group of Valorant players to hopefully in the future host events and tournaments. We are also looking for a Valorant lead who would be interested in helping us grow the Valorant side of things. Obviously this is a responsibility going beyond just having fun, so we will for sure compensate you for your time. Hello everyone,

TL;DR: I have Rs30K funding to host a game jam event. I am looking for advice on hosting it online - platform, communities, how to make sure it is conducted properly etc.

I don't hail from the game dev industry but have been a long term software engineer currently working as a Graphics programmer somewhere outside the country. I always wanted to get into game dev but that simply wasn't possible while I was in India since during my time, game dev wasn't even a thing. But now that some really promising games have come out of India (I love Raji), I feel like students and pros are now more open to pick it up as a serious hustle or even a hobby. I wish to organize an yearly (for now) game jam hosted online. Since it will be online, I don't wish to make it a 3 day event like we used to have in our dev hackathons. The target audience would be students mostly or fresh game devs. I was looking to have a dialog with folks in the comments to understand the interest and viability of this. Feel free to ask me questions.

Hello everyone, we are a 6+ players who have played Windrose on our hosted server. We have built a mansion and have sailed the high seas. Some of us have finished the game, some have just started. I was wondering if there are people who would like to jump into our server and continue the work we have put in. We'll put the server to rest if all of us finish the game. But if we find more players, we'll be more than happy to keep it running.
The reason I asked for Indian players is that we have the server hosted in Mumbai (even though I play from Europe on that server no problem).

Budget: 2-3K per month (can pay up to 4.5K if you are a perfect fit).

Soft requirements:

1. You are in 11th/12th or 1st/2nd/3rd year.
2. You are enthusiastic about building a gaming community from scratch.
3. You have time to spare on a project like this and can commit to this long term (6 months to 1 year).

Hard requirements:

1. Should be good at talking to people.
2. Should come from a gaming background (not a pro, but a regular casual player)
3. Should have some reach in other gaming community servers to help us host events and collaborate with others when needed.

Budget: 500-1K INR based on how nice the output turns out to be.

This one is a quick gig, so I won't bother the designer with too many change request. The logo needs to have an Indian touch, minimalistic and modern. If you have experience creating logo of this sort, please reach out. If you also want to work with us long term designing tournament posters and announcement banners, we can have a chat on that too.

I am very much anti-AI when it comes to creative stuff. So please, if you use AI in your process, be very upfront about it.

I'll state the obvious so that I don't waste anyone's time.

1. Will be paid per project. (We can negotiate on the rates)
2. Looking for a long term collaborator who can also share their own opinions on the project from an editor's point of view.
3. I am based out of India, so should be flexible with the timezones.
4. Has to use Davinchi Resolve as part of their workflow. This is non-negotiable, unfortunately.

The videos will generally be around 3 topics: Hiking and Camping, Video Games (Story mode), Coding Tutorials (odd mix, but don't worry about it too much).
