I’ll be leaving this saturday and everything has just sinked in.

As a first time OFW, independent and carefree person. I never thought it will be this hard.

I won’t be waking up anymore at home seeing my family. I will now start doing everything on my own. I don’t even have chores at home. 🥺

And the most hurtful thing, will be starting a long distance relationship with my long time partner. 😭🥹

I will be leaving next month, I told my mom that I’ll just send 15k fix monthly.

5k rent
1250 wifi
500 water

the rest will be for her food and for my grandma. I only support the two of them, even they live with my sister (with two daughters, she have work)

I will earn just roughly 50k+ net monthly, and I don’t wanna burden myself.

2 weeks before BOSY I signed a contract for teaching job abroad, 1week before BOSY I withdrew the offer since kala ko kaya ko pa mag tiis sa DepEd, 4 days before BOSY I passed my resignation and pursued the offer abroad.

I’m happy for finally getting out of the fckn system.
But also sad for leaving my fellow teachers devastated because of the fckn experiments of DepEd.

I’m now on the process for my visa and work permit abroad. But I’m hesitant to send my resignation yet since I want to receive the visa first. Though there might not be any problem since my agency and employer are used to processing filipino visa, and I was informed I need to arrive there before July 4.

I haven’t tell anyone from my sups and coteachers yet since alam ko kung gano kabilis kumalat. :((

Once I received my visa, I plan on resigning immediately, or gusto ko na magsabi now para di na ko mabigyan ng advisory and di mahirap magtransfer ng loads and forms if ever.
