Replace lost ID and Licence?

I need to replace my ID and licence since I lost my wallet. Do I need an affidavit declaring the loss? Do I have to get it from a police station or can any commissioner of oaths stamp it for me?

Any advice would be appreciated :)

I've been watching video tutorials for beginner-friendly projects and a lot are makeup bags, tote bags, pouches, etc. In the tutorials they have their fabric and then they have this white layer that they put underneath it, kind of looks like stuffing but its flat and uniform, like felt, maybe? I've tried to figure out what this is called but haven't had any luck. Is it called interfacing? I know it's used to make the fabric more stable, especially for bags and the likes.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for Elna pattern cams/discs for my machine and was wondering if anyone in South Africa might have some they’re willing to sell (or knows where I could find some locally). I’ve only been able to find them overseas and the shipping fees are way out of my budget :’)

I’m happy to pay for local shipping, and I’d really appreciate any leads or advice too.

My machine is an Elna SU Air Electronic (late 70s/early 80s), so I’m looking for the standard snap-in Elna cams pictured above.

I’ve inherited this beautiful machine from my granny, it’s 50 years old and I so badly want to use it to its full potential!

Thanks in advance :)

Years ago I bought him a big pack of black socks with coloured heels and toes. Like 10 pairs, because he was always losing his socks somehow. He eventually lost most of those pairs (found them in random places when cleaning up after he died, lol) except for a red sock and a pink sock that he would wear together as one pair. After he died I put all of his socks in a bag except for that pair, which I wear every week to work. They’ve become all holey on the bottom and really worn out, but they make me smile!! I’m going to wear them until they are nothing but threads :)

Anyone else have a decrepit item that they refuse to give up?
